I had a total restyle with Danni.
She was fab! We had a good chat as I wanted quite a drastic change. She repeatedly checked and rechecked the length I wanted before cutting.
She styled my hair beautifully and we discussed colour options for the future too.

Almost back to normal! All safety precautions in place due to Covid and I felt very safe. As always Anne was great as are all of the staff who dealt with me.
If you want to treat yourself to a hair cut and colour this is the place to go. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny.
I was very pleased with both my cut and colour and the professionalism of all of the staff.
I only gave 4 stars for service due to not having the lovely cup of coffee that is usually provided but I understand why that can't be.
Dani transformed my hair beautifully today! I really love my new colour, my hair looks so much healthier after the brilliant colour and treatments used on my hair. The salon was clean and friendly as always with all safety measures put in place to keep all clients safe. My mum also had a lovely cut and blow dry and is booked in for her colour in a few weeks time. We highly recommend New Wave! Thanks so much Dani, see you soon!

First hair cut and highlights since before lockdown. Ann worked wonders on my hair as always. She suggested a slightly lighter colour, which I absolutely love! My hair looks and feels 100% better. Ann talks you through everything and is so professional. The cut and highlights are perfect.

Given the current circumstances and new restrictions and regulations the salon was set up ready and all staff were very professional, friendly and prepared. It was a very comfortable visit and although I only had a wash and cut it was relaxed and I didn’t feel rushed like I have in some places. My hair feels fresh and looks lovely! Thank you

Awful experience at New Wave last week. I booked to have my colour done and was told there wasn't enough time to have my hair cut which was fine. What I wasn't told was that I would be sent home with wet hair. I complained to the manager who took me to a private space to hear my complaint. We reached an impasse as she said there was nothing they could do. I went to sit back in the salon and she came behind me and went through the whole thing again in front of everyone - saying 15 minutes was added to every appointment and no charge was passed on to the customer. She also added that if I needed my hair drying I wouldn't have been given an appointment in the first place. She said this should have been explained to me when I made the booking along with the safety information. It wasn't and neither was the safety information !!! Fortunately I took my own mask ( I wish I had taken a drink). She also added that it was another manager who took the booking - how was that relevant? I have been going to this salon for over 15 years spending over £100 a time. I left feeling humiliated and was made to feel that my custom was not important because they are so busy following lockdown. I posted a comment on their facebook page saying mush the same as i've said here and it was deleted so they clearly don't care.

First time at the salon, was really impressed with my whole experience- especially considering the post lockdown circumstances. Cerys was great the whole way through, and took real time and interest in achieving what I was after. she did a fantastic job removing my 5 mile roots! thank you x
The service both pre and during the appointment was excellent. Received a call a couple of days before explaining the measures put in place to protect customers and staff and what to expect.
On arrival went through the process hand sanitiser, temperature check and q&a form.
Then received the usual great service and left with great hair.
Any doubts about going - don’t worry they have really put measures in place to protect everyone.

I was looking for a new hairdresser and found a discount voucher online for New Wave so thought I would give it a try. Carys did my hair and I would highly recommend her. She gave me a thorough consultation and as I was having a lot of hair cut off she made sure I was happy with the length as she was going along. I am extremely happy with my new style and Carys is lovely. I am making New Wave my regular salon from now on.
