I got the Yuko hair straightening treatment a couple of months ago. At first I was unsure about the treatment due to the cost, however, I couldn't be happier with the results. My hair has always been difficult... it's naturally a bit wavy, but not properly curly. I would straighten it within an inch of it's life, and then before I'd even left the house it would start kinking and frizzing. Outside was even worse, any moisture or wind, any elements at all and it would never stay how I would like it. So I ended up never wearing it down. Just really badly behaved hair! Since having the treatment I now feel like I have "normal" hair! It behaves! I've worn it down in different weather conditions, sunshine, even rain!! And it actually stays straight! Miracle for my hair! I can dry it naturally too and have it wavy, actual nice non fizzy waves! I now have the best of both worlds. Couldn't be happier with the results! I wish I'd done this year's ago...my boyfriend said I no longer moan about my hair every morning! Because I don't have to fight with it anymore! Craig, thankyou so much for recommending this treatment! Worth every penny! Xxxx

The cut was funky, chic, choppy and trendy! Austin and Louise kept me informed as to what was happening. They were very helpful, and friendly.

He’s so great and both colouring and cutting.

I decided to book with this stylist due to the reviews. Overall my stylist went over and above to try and get the results I wanted, it was made known that my hair would be a big job though I didn't feel so. Instead of free hand, I got foils which had to be done I was told to cover all the colours in my hair. The colour after was a bit more Ashy then I would like but the results were better then what previous stylists had achieved. My only complaint and advice is that the foils need to be placed and removed alot more gently as well as when drying the hair.
Other then that the salon was busy with a positive atmosphere and the girls all seemed to work very well together!

I have received Compliments on my new look and I would return.

I've just been to a 3 day intensive speakers convention and coming to the salon really did soothe my soul. I arrived quite tense, drained and with a splitting headache. I left with a spring in my step and smile on my face. Oh and I loved my new "cheeky" hairstyle. Thanks Craig.

Where do I even start?! From the first moment that I stepped through the door at Hob, I was greeted by Daniel and instantly fell in love! I’ve been to many hairdressers in the past, but never have I EVER had such a lovely, funny, talented and professional hairdresser. Not only is Daniel talented at what he does, he is also a gorgeous human being that has me belly laughing the whole time I’m in the salon. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with my visit to the salon. I found paying £70
To have my hair cut straight across the back with no shape to it a total rip off. I also had it straightened which was again a disappointing service it was left curly and frizzy underneath I explained I would like it shaped or slightly layered at the bottom my request seem to fall on deaf ears. I subsequently walked up to Lothian road and straight in another salon who listened and gave me the cut and style I wanted. I have been a client with Toni and Guy for a number of years but since Stef has left I am sorry to say will not be returning.

Simply the best. Laurence is amazing. Top cut. Top colour. Top atmosphere and fun chat. Left the salon laughing my head off.

This was my first time at the salon. I called in the morning and got an appointment the same afternoon. I wanted a shorter bob for my thick hair and Daniel really took his time to think about what would be suit me. The whole team were very warm and friendly. Especially the girl who washed my hair. I will definitely be back.

Craig worked utter magic on my hair yesterday. He softened and evened my strawberry blonde tones, cut a great shape whilst leaving the length and transformed that texture of my hair using Nioxin products. Today my hair feels soft, and healthy. The colour is beautiful! Thank you Craig!

Daniel listened to how I wanted my hair cut & styled. He advised me to add a few layers & reassured me he would cut less & then cut more if I wanted too. Friendly but professional at all times he cut & blow dried my hair. . It’s the first time I’ve been to a hair salon in years, and I left very happy.
