Been having my hair done by Laurence for approximately 25 years and have stuck rigidly to the same style. Have always kept my hair reasonably long and finally with a degree of trepidation agreed to have it cut a lot shorter.. Laurence did a fantastic job and am liking my new hair style. He is the only person I will. Allow to cut my hair.

After an absence of over two years when he left my last local salon, I visited Daniel at Hobs. I found the salon nice and friendly and it was great to be back in Daniels capable hands. A lovely cut and colour.

I have been having my highlights done by Daniel for a year now and i can honestly say hes the best haidresser i have ever met he listens and understands exactly what i am asking for the exact shade of blonde i want, unbelievably close so no root is showing and hes brilliant at cutting too. The salon has a lovely friendly atmosphere and is immaculately clean i cannot reccomend Daniel and Hob salon Epping highly enough. After every visit there i leave with a spring in my step and feeling happy?

Great service from Austin today. He makes you feel special and takes great pride in his work not feeling that he is rushing to get to his next client as I have felt before in other salons. Also as there were no trainees in the salon today, Austin washed my hair himself and again this felt that it was done with care and not rushed. I felt that I could have just gone to sleep as it was so relaxing.

Austin is amazing. This is the second Keratin treatment and I can’t rate it high enough. Austin has been doing my hair for over 10years and he recommended I try this treatment. It really is amazing. No more frizz, styling my hair is so effortlessl..I can’t thank Austin enough for how he has looked after my hair for so many years. He persuaded me to let my natural platinum colour come through he has given me a style that friends want to copy and now the Keratin treatment which has made my hair so easy to style.

Felt very relaxed and I’m delighted with the results. Had a pretty dramatic cut, which I absolutely love. Already booked my next appointment!

Laurance has been doing my hair for around 25 years and I would be reluctant to let anyone else near it. Laurence is a great cutter and stylist and I would highly recommend him.

I couldn’t believe that I was charged £67.00 for a cut and blow dry, £72.00 with a treatment, £11.00 extra for a restyle because I hadn’t been for a while, but the salon has been closed! £2.00 extra for cleaning! Every business is having to take extra precautions, but they are not charging the customer.
If I had known the price before my appointment I wouldn’t have made the booking, I suppose this is my fault for not checking, but I have never previously checked.

It seems the company is trying to make up the profit for the time they were closed.

My second visit and I was not left dsappointed. Laurence is so knowledgeable and experienced and tells you the truth. I swear he had wings hidden as out of this world.

I went in and had a total transformation from long grey hair to full colour, foil Highlights an re-style.I thought this would cost me about £150 ish was not expecting bill of £192!!! My husband had to sub me the extra money to help me pay for it..If I had known it would have been that high in price I probably would not have had the Foil highlights of £60.00.
Done now but will definitely ask for prices before I visit next time

I booked myself for a hair cut with Austin. Having been used to going to my hairstylist in Glasgow for over 10 years one can only imagine my anxiety about going to a new one after my move to Edinburgh. However I have been pleasantly surprised. Brilliant service, happy with the consultation and even with our face masks on, it didn’t stop us having a good old chat.

Craig is quite simply a genius of creativity and expertise. Since 2012 Craig has been making my hair look amazing so that no one would realise I had an autoimmune issue which affects my hair and scalp. No matter how I feel when I go into the salon I always leave feeling and looking great thanks to Craig’s talent,knowledge and empathy.

I have been doing highlights for twenty years yet this was the Worst highlights experience ever! 4 hours of agony and nothing else... to begin with the Strips of foil covered my eyes and forehead completely. I felt dizzy and hot so had to ask him to clip the foils backwards. My hair was tangled so badly that it took them ages to untangle while shampooing. It hurt so bad that I have a sore head and a dull headache even five days later. New way of ripping clients off is to charge them for toner? Why was I charged for that when It should be part of the highlights process. I told him I don’t want blond highlights and yet they were blond so toner had to be used to correct the colour! £170 and my reddish looking hair later when I was about to leave I was asked to pay £5 for PPE. I said why wasn’t I told this before, he just said ‘i don’t know’.
This is unacceptable! Please explain why are you asking clients to pay for this?? we pay more money to come to your salons expecting better service. No other hair salon or barbers are charging extra for towels and coats. What’s next? We will have to pay for combs too ?
