What a lovely salon! And really nice staff too! I drove down from Plymouth for a specialist hair requirement and had a wonderful few hours looking round the little town.
My small dog was allowed to accompany me (with prior agreement) and treats were given :)

I had a lovely cup of tea and was even offered a magazine to read!! That felt really old school - haven’t read a magazine for years and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My time with the colour lounge has always been a positive one, staff are always very cheerful and polite.
My time today was to find out if a product was right for me, but either way I am sure I will spend many more hours with these lovely people.

It’s been a good few years since I last had my hair cut due to a terrible experience a long time ago, Denise talked me through what she was doing and did such an amazing job I will definitely be going back, they are all very accommodating as they were more then happy for my 3 month old to be with me too and even provided a chair so I could feed him before my hair cut continued.

I will be returning in the future.

I am normally to lazy to put reviews but it will be shame not to.My stylist is Kim she is just brilliant amaizing personality and lot off laughter along side but all stylist there is professional and kind and free cuddles from lovely fluffy dog Harvey ? I would highly recommend the saloon where you just sit back and relax!

Well, what can I say, I was holding back the tears.... I was so happy with my hair cut!. I have wavy hair and it needed a good cut, dry and frizzy it looked pretty bad. Lisa, cut it exactly as I wanted then diffuse dried it and the result was amazing. Glorious curls not a frizz in sight and she told me how to repeat it at home. It was the best salon experience I've had. Olivia washed it and her head massage was fab. I can't wait to go back to have my colour done. Thank you so much Lisa. Xxxx

I was so impressed! I had a curly cut and a curly diffused finish. I thought I was just going in firstly for a consultation.. after speaking to Lisa she squeezed me in for above. I have my sons wedding on the 29th and although she’s not there on the 27th has got me covered for roots colour and curly dry. .. I have to travel on 28th. I am so happy with my curls.. to walk out with curls is fantastic for me. .. Lisa and everyone are lovely.. and I’m in love with Harvey, my new best friend. ❤️ See you soon!

Really happy with the results from my cut and blow-dry with Kim. Following a disastrous perm at another salon which left my hair in a total mess for 9 months I finally feel like my hair is getting back in condition and shape thanks to Kim and the products she recommended

In between refresh today by Kim, my hair colour and shape lasted months so I only needed a touch up to get me through the summer. Love the colour and cut, I always get lovely comments on my hair! Colour lounge is friendly, comfortable and professional, highly recommend.

A straightforward, haircut by Kim, accompanied by hilarious conversation. (Don't ask her about the hands, and DON'T touch her (beautiful) hair no matter how ,genuinely tempting it may be to see if it as soft as it looked.)

Denise is Amazing

I went in for a cut and blow dry. I have waist length hair and I was hesitant at first (I’ve had hair dressers in the past be a bit too scissor happy!). The ladies welcomed me in with a cup of coffee while I waited. I saw that most of the staff had long hair too. Denise, who cut my hair really listened to what I wanted which was just the dead ends cut off and some soft shaping around the front. She made feel really at ease and relaxed. She did a fantastic job on my hair, kept the length, softened the front and then curled it all. I was so pleased and it feels so healthy and lush. I would highly recommend them an added bonus is the salon dog, Harvey, who is adorable and looks like a little teddy bear.

The colour lounge is one of the most relaxed and friendly places I’ve visited. All of the staff are very welcoming and accommodating and as a bonus you get cuddles with the cutest dog! I always have my hair done with Kim, who always has you and your hair’s best interests at heart. She will always consult with you in detail about what products she’s going to use and ensures that you are happy with the process. I always look forward to my appointments and spend them laughing and smiling. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience at Colour Lounge this morning. In depth consultation, great input and a wonderfully talented young lady name of Kim. Very comfortable chairs, snazzy decor and a terrific soundtrack all add up to a terrific and very positive experience. Shout out to the adorable doggo Harvey who just loves loves loves a cuddle!

All staff are attentive and thoughtful, I feel safe in their hands, Kim particularly is kind and always ensures she is clear about how you would like your cut and also makes suggestions. Lovely hair wash with a mini massage included and cappuccinos for me. It feels like a lovely relaxing treat when I’ve been for my 6/8 weekly appointment. Thank you ❤️I could go somewhere cheaper but I think I deserve the overall experience and am fortunate to be able to pay for this as a treat
