Such a warm and friendly salon which is also stylish and very attractive. Eloise consistently gives great results and is an excellent stylist with a good understanding of what will suit my hair type. I always leave feeling very pleased with the whole experience.

Josh has styled my hair on and off over many years and never fails to deliver. He’s professional and approachable and is a master in his field.

After a disaster with over bleaching left my shoulder length hair destroyed, I remembered Vivienne at Hunter and Walsh. Came out with a fantastic choppy bob. I can't praise her work highly enough. Magician!

A job well done

Firstly I would like to say that all the staff are warm and welcoming. The salon is modern and inviting. The atmosphere in the salon is upbeat and the standard of hairdressing excellent. My hairdresser beautiful Rosebel has worked a miracle. My hair was the darkest red for many years and I can now boast a sunny silky blonde head of hair. I highly recommend the salon to all.????

Eloise understands my fine highlighted hair so well: she always does a great cut and highlights and has a lovely manner and GSOH..

I always look forward to the day my hair appointment comes around. Hunter & Walsh is such a lovely place to visit- beautiful surroundings and such warm and friendly staff. The coffee is good and you get a pastry at weekends , Viv has been doing my hair for about 12 years now and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. She knows exactly what I like and even Pins new short hair styles for me on her Pinterest board. She is confident to try the edgier styles with me. I now consider her my friend and I love the chats we have on my visits. I can’t recommend them enough!!

This salon is such a treat for me, it’s so lovely! The service is fabulous, great coffee and a pastry, amazing products that smell so lush. Eloise has been my stylish for years and I’m never disappointed with her work, she’s brilliant! The other girls are always great at washing my hair, that in itself is definitely a luxury for me. It’s great to sit in amoungst the hustle and bustle of such a busy salon in a town that’s definitely suffering at the moment.

I had really thick curly medium length hair and wanted it cut short. I nearly chickend out!!!!! Josh was absolutely brilliant, he did such a good cut and was so thorough and professional and is a very friendly and lovely salon.

Having just moved to Penzance from another area and having had my previous hairdresser for 20 years I was understandably quite nervous about finding a new hairdresser. I needn't have worried. From the moment I met Viv I felt I had known her for ages. She was extremely professional and friendly. She took time to listen to me and matched the colour of my hair perfectly. The cut is fab. Josh totally put me at ease straight away. He made me feel like I was a friend. He knew exactly how to cut my hair to shape my face and suit me that was low maintenance. Even helping me take the perfect selfie. Will definitely come back, highly recommend.

Very Happy I decided to walk through their door a year or so ago. All staff are always polite and approachable. Always the offer of a drink hot or cold as soon as you arrive and when you’re in the chair. Louise is happy to listen to your ideas and help along the way and even suggest colours or even a new style if that’s what you’re looking for. Colours are fab and very natural if you’re having that done. My hair has never felt and looked better. Thankyou xx

I am so pleased with my new colour and hair style and have received lots of compliments. New apprentice Shania coloured my hair while being taught by Viv. Shania did an excellent job I am sure she will have a great future in hairdressing. Viv cut and styled my hair and I was very pleased. This is a great salon and I am very impressed with the dedication given to training new stylists.

I have been totally pampered and looked after from the minute I walked through the door today. I loved all the extra little touches, the heated cushion around my neck when my toner was on was bliss.
