I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Sitting Room. I felt welcome as soon as I entered the door! The staff were all so friendly and focused on their customers but in an inclusive way. It created a lovely atmosphere for everyone. Fiona did a fantastic job colouring my hair and I feel she really listened to what I wanted (despite my indecisiveness) and I’m so pleased with the result!! Courtney cut and styled my hair beautifully. I feel like I had some lovely chats and good laughs, and met some really genuinely lovely people! Just what the doctor ordered. I’m looking forward to returning!

Having had the same hairdresser in London for the last 15 years I was a tad nervous but should not have been. On entering the salon I was greeted by a very friendly smile and made very welcome. Curtis who washed my hair was lovely and then having Juliann cut and style my hair was fab. Such a lovely person , could see I was a bit nervous so she put me at ease. We discussed my hair etc and we just chatted as she worked. Overall an A* service. Thank u,

My 13 year-old daughter had her long hair cut to shoulder length by Ellen. She loves her new haircut and everyone at the salon was so friendly. We live in Edinburgh but Sarah wants her hair cut by Ellen again so each time we visit grandma we will be calling in. Thank you.

I'm afraid to say attended here 10/08/17 for full head blonde highlights. Colour bled throughout, but stylist said nothing. I was allowed to leave the salon like this and charged at full price. Have attended several different salons to have colour and bleeding corrected as I will not be back.
As always, fantastic haircut, lovely staff and great atmosphere. Been going to The Sitting Room for years and wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommend.

I've been going to Julian for many years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Her and her staff are so professional and talented so the service you get is second to none. And an added bonus is the warm and friendly atmosphere, the fun and craic makes a trip to the Sitting Room one of my favourites... I also want to mention the support Julian has been in the last 18 months since my breast cancer diagnosis, loosing my hair was traumatic but Julian has helped me in so many ways and is now guiding me step by step in styling my 'new' hair... ?
Have been going to Julian for longer than I care to remember.... wouldn’t go anywhere else ....... she runs a tight ship which is very clear to see .... her staff excellent... salon always spotless .... friendly and a great service provided .... it’s easy to see why she won hairdresser of the year ..... highly recommend. I love the Sittingroom. The only place I trust to do my hair. After having too many bad experiences elsewhere I found this place and they gave me back my confidence. I have never been unhappy with a cut or style and I even started getting my hair coloured again after a very bad experience had put me off for life, or so I had thought. Their skill and attention to detail AND to what I want done is second to none. Lovely staff who are all very accomplished. I love this place.

Just had my first visit with Patricia and could not be happier. I showed her a photo of the style I wanted and she replicated it perfectly. Very pleasant, friendly stylist, and a great cutter! Would definitely reccomend for anyone wishing to change hairdressers or going to the Sitting Room for the first time!
