I took my children here yesterday for a trim. The salon staff were so lovely. Lindsey put my kids at ease and cut their hair exactly how I wanted it. My girls were apprehensive about getting their hair cut but Lindsey was great with them. Orla helped too (girls wouldn't keep their head still lol!) and Curtis was so hospitable and offered the girls some soft drinks and I got a lovely cuppa!
Will definitely be back. It was a lovely experience!!

Priscilla really enjoyed her trip to the salon the day. Lynsey cut her hair & then after blowdrying it showed her how to curl it using large tongs !! Which of course any 13yr old would love !! Her hair is beautiful & she came out feeling on top of this wold ! Many thanks to all the staff.

First visit. All staff were welcoming and professional. £19 a bit pricey for gents, but Clare took her time and did a good job.

when you enter it's like walking into your friends sitting room, warm friendly and you are made feel so welcome. never disappointed with my hair, and even though my hair is a short style I never have the same cut each time it feels like a new style..just love this salon.

This was my first visit to the Sitting Room and it was a very positive experience. The staff were very welcoming and my stylist was made than able to tame my thick, short hair into exactly what I had hoped for.

I've been a client at the sitting room for many years I can honestly say that each time I visit I'm treated like I am important Julian and Fiona are a fantastic team as are the other members of staff. Everyone is friendly, thoughtful, and treat me with the greatest respect. I would highly recommend this salon.

I would just like to say thank you so much for my gorgeous updo for a wedding I was attending yesterday. As I was visiting from Scotland and hadn't been to the salon before I was pretty anxious about it but from the moment i walked in and was greeted with my friendly hairdresser (I can't remember her name, baby brain) but she made me feel at ease and listened to what I wanted. The amount of compliments I got about my hair was amazing so can't thank you enough for making me feel fab! If I'm ever back in the area I wouldn't hesitate to go back x

Once again nothing is impossible with Clare whipping up a magic formula that took me from ice blond pieces to an Autumnal rose gold - another look I'd spotted on Milkshake's social media & had to try! Loving my new look once again!
Today I had the enjoyment of getting my hair transformed by Clare and endless amount of cups of hot tea from Curtis (forget the last time I had a hot cuppa and got to finish it ?). Lovely wee treat for me with having a new born!!

Fiona lightened and Julian styled my hair. I am delighted with the results. In fact, in the past 3 yrs, I have never been disappointed with their skill and professionalism. The atmosphere is light-hearted and welcoming in the salon and it is apparent that the staff all enjoy their work.

Really pleased with my hair, Courtney very polite and professional. Felt very relaxed. I was offered tea/coffee. Didn't have to wait when I arrived at the salon. I did notice the salon was clean and tidy. The staff who didn't have clients were busy cleaning and brushing the floor. Would recommend to my friends. Thankyou
