Oh my word! Went in with a hair disaster, totally embarrassed. Lindsay and Julienne were so kind and immediately made me feel at ease! Total hair miracle, you'd never know what happened and the condition is so much better! Great aftercare advice, latte and a laugh. Lovely atmosphere and staff are so great!

Just back from The Sitting Room where my two granddaughters had their hair styled. The staff were very understanding and friendly especially to my granddaughters taking time to find out exactly what style they wanted
My daughter had her first proper wash, cut and blow dry today and the salon was brilliant with her! My daughter loved it too she was so happy with her hair :-)

I can not fault this salon , from the minute we went in were greeted at door to we left , we were so well looked after asking what we wanted done , making sure we were ok seriously highly recommend this salon for the extremely kind friendly service from the minute you enter to the minute you leave :-)

Courtney took time and listened to all my concerns and ideas about my hair before proceeding to cut my hair. She gave me a style which suits my age and face shape. It is easy to style myself which is great. Will definitely be back.

Have had my hair coloured here a few times before but decided to go for a change this time. Ellen my stylist was very attentive to what I wished for & discussed the different colours and products she would use to get my hair as close to what I wanted as possible. I would highly recommend using this salon as all the girls are very pleasant and the whole process leaves you very relaxed and happy. Very pleased with the result.

I went in with bleached blonde hair with my roots growing out and asked what colour I should go, I was shown the different shades of brown and between me and my stylist we decided to go an exotic Brown! I couldn't be happier with my colour and the service I got was 10/10 so friendly and kind. Definitely recommend The Sitting room!

Have being going to Julian for 20+ years to have my hair cut and coloured. Lovely salon , first class friendly staff and great atmosphere. Julian should be extremely proud of her salon as she works hard and trains all her juniors to a very high standard. No such thing as it will do ....... either it's 100% or she's not happy . 5* all around .

During your visit you are made to feel really special ! Nothing is too much trouble ! They listen to what you want and then they give you their expertise. Julian is so professional but really down to earth !you leave feeling well and truly pampered !

Staff are all friendly and attend to your needs from the moment you walk in. Fiona is fantastic at doing my colour always ensuring I'm happy with end result. Julian is an excellent stylist and I can relax knowing I'm in safe hands. Training must be good as junior staff are all very good and lovely to see them develop and become more confident.

Nothing's impossible (even giving a redhead a funky new ultra-violet do!) I love being listened to by Julien and the team who will go the extra HUNDRED miles to achieve the look I want! They genuinely care about making the client feel important and take time to really understand your hair goals. I feel totally confident that I'm in good hands and the tips and advice given ensures I leave the Salon knowing how to look after my new colour and style. Got my hair coloured for the 1st time in the sittingroom & it's really lovely. They did exactly as I asked. Not to noticeable & it's natural looking. Very happy ! & of course got a beautiful latte served to me ! What more could you ask for !
