Fabulous salon. Great friendly atmosphere, feel right at home. Gorgeous curly blow dry by Lyndsey and fabulous nails by Laura. Totally pampered and beautified in one place. Love this salon, couldn’t recommend it enough. And don’t forget the great coffee too.

Lyndsey had to colour correct my hair after numerous home dye disasters and done so brilliantly. Loved my new colour and cut. Everyone in salon really lovely and soo helpful. Would recommend to everyone
I travel 57 miles to The Sitting Room to have my hair cut and coloured. So worth it. Julian and Fiona are masters at their profession. I am so happy with the result. Always made to feel welcome by everyone. Great to get a hairdresser who genuinely listens!

Just had a curly blow dry here & the service was second to none. Right from I arrived, the staff were so friendly & warm, and extremely professional. Had a great conversation with the first girl doing my hair, who then got me a lovely cuppa with biscuits. The lady who styled my hair was very down to earth, & brilliant at her job too. The place runs like a well-oiled machine, & I LOVE my hair!:) Will definately be back & couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you

Well, I flew home from Birmingham, my usual hairdresser moved away a few months ago and I haven’t found anyone new.
I thought I would try Tge sitting Room, what can I say from I walked in until I left I was treated amazing, I asked for ideas for a new style and I was so nervous, but I love it, it’s beautiful, it’s what I wanted, it suits me, it was reasonably priced and I will definitely be back. You can clearly see why this Salon continually wins awards.

All staff are helpful and friendly. It’s nice that you are acknowledged upon arrival. My appointment time was delayed though I was informed and I was happy to wait. Julian listens to you re your hair etc... and takes time to explain any issues you may be experiencing with your hair. She is an expert and I am extremely happy with my cut.

My wee girl mollie is very quiet and shy but loves getting her hair done.... she was made feel at ease and sat beside me during it all. She may have been quiet in the shop but she has talked about it endlessly since she got home... even gave me a lecture on how to blow dry hair
