All staff are always smiling and approachable, kept offering to get me another drink, always making sure I was happy so far and okay, asking loads of questions about what I wanted to make sure they did it right and I was happy about it, will always choose to get my hair done at NJUK and always recommend it to friends and family

I was quite nervous about trying out a new stylist for me, having had my hair styled by Nikki since NJUK opened.Eden was very attentive and took time at each stage to ask me if i was satisfied with how my cut was going.Overall i had a good experience at the newly refurbished salon today, the only con being, that i found the salon to be too dark and missed the natural light that used to flood in.Loved the style, very posh😁
Happy to say that Eden helped me overcome my fear of not being able to get appointments with Nikki everytime🙂Thankyou Eden.

Had my gel toes soaked off & redone - absolutely love them! Had french toes with Lara, such a lovely girl and very efficient. Made me feel super comfortable & a chatty girl! Definitely recommend x

A lovely experience with a delightful experienced stylist. Jane and her colleagues are all very professional and knowledgeable. Had an excellent result from the perm I had. This is by far and away the best salon I’ve visited and is now stunningly refurbished making the experience even more enjoyable. Lovely welcoming atmosphere too.

It’s hard to find a hairdresser you really like, but I can honestly say that I have!
Gemma always makes me feel very comfortable and colours and cuts my hair really well. She always asks what I want (I never know, but trust her to let her guide me). I’ve never once been disappointed with how my hair looks, and she always make me feel as I look good!

I managed to get a last minute appointment with Emma due to a cancellation and she was a star. She was so friendly and explained everything to me, my hair type, how to style it, what products to use and why etc. I had a great experience and booked back in for my second appointment before I left. Thanks Emma, my hair looks and feels amazing ♥️

I would highly recommend Chelsea. She is just amazing! I wouldn't trust anyone else to cut or style my hair. She's always so lovely and patient. She makes sure she really understands what you're looking to achieve and goes the extra mile to make you feel great when leaving the salon. Always grateful that a friend recommended Chelsea to me a few years ago.

Emma usually does my hair and I'm always happy. On this occasion, I left it too late and Emma had no availability before my holiday so I booked with Mitchell instead. He understood exactly what I wanted and kept checking throughout the cut to make sure. I'm really pleased with the outcome and how meticulous Mitchell was. I won't hesitate to book with Mitchell again, fantastic service.

It’s took me 3 days to be able to write this review as I am so upset. I had to have an appointment with the new nail technician as for some reason no sns appointments were available to me. What an experience, I have never been treated so rough in my life. She burnt me twice with the dremel, gave me scalding hot water to soak my fingers and made me bleed. I cannot believe how roughly I was handled, the experience was terrible. She told me on my way upstairs that the salon was stopping sns nails so these gels were all I could have, which I then found out wasn’t true. Whilst paying £44 for the tortuous hour I spent with her and trying to book my next appointment for sns nails. I was told in no uncertain terms I couldn’t do that, I had to book for infills of these builder gels as there were no other appointments left, so I had no choice. I was told as I work funny hours no other appointments were available to me (I work 9-5 Monday to Friday). When I got home I had to peel the residue from my old sns nails off my fingers as she hadn’t done so. The only positive thing I can say is the colour of the nails are nice. I felt bullied and abused both during the treatment and whilst at the till. I cannot believe how upset I am about this. I have come to njuk for many years and felt like a happy, valued customer throughout by your wonderful staff especially Gemma and Laura. I have never received anything but professional service previously, however, I cannot see past this and I absolutely will not go through this experience again. Therefore, I would like to cancel all my upcoming appointments, I will not be back to the salon for any services in the future. This has not been an easy decision for me, but I will be looking for a new salon for both my nails and hair as I cannot face coming back.

I am a regular at this salon and always get my hair done by Mitchell. He is fab always attentive and polite. This review is about another stylist whenever I visit the salon I dread to be seen by them simply because she is rude never smiles never welcoming and works as if she is working at a fast food chain (mc Donald’s) and rushes her staff to rush clients out the door and tells them that the next client is waiting for them and her customer service skills are really bad. I visited the salon and wanted to speak a colour specialist as I go to Nottingham to have my hair coloured but as it being far I wanted to book in with anyone at NJUK. However on the day I appreciate everyone was busy on that day when I came in and Mitchell tried to get someone to speak to me and asked someone which she replied to him saying everyone is busy, I stood waiting for a reply after paying for my service. She did not acknowledge me and told Mitchell that his next client is waiting which is when he left me. I then said to her am I done she said “yes”no bye or thank or a “smile” or if I would want to rebook which I did want to book again to see a specialist and also wanted to book in to have a blow dry done but instead I left.

I left the salon contemplating on if I would like to visit again as other staff members are friendly apart from her I have noticed her bad aura body language and behaviour every time I visit the salon she isn’t friendly instead she is rude and never smiles but rarely smiles to certain clients eg older clients.

Absolutely wonderful thank you all especially to Eden for her kindness care and expertise looking forward as always to next appointment 😂

Gemma advised and discussed the options based on my hair type, length and face shape. The finished cut and styling is fabulous and it's really refreshed a tired hairdo! Lovely relaxed, friendly salon where nothing is too much trouble.

If I could give 6 stars I would! I came into the salon with hair from a previous salon that I was so unhappy with. It was tired, damaged and overall ugly. Danni not only managed to bring my hair back to life but she was also so friendly and her service was remarkable! I’m absolutely overjoyed and cannot thank her enough for the magic she has worked on my hair.
