We apologise if there was any confusion about the additional charge for the finishing blow dry. We have always offered a complimentary power dry with one of our apprentices, after all colour services, for anyone who is not having a paid cut or blowdry with a stylist. The complimentary dry is simply to allow us to check the colour and to ensure that clients leave with finished hair. In a situation when a client would like more than a simple power dry we have always had a policy that we would add £10 to cover the fact that this takes quite a bit of extra time.

I have spoken with all of our team to explain how important it is that clients are always made aware of this. It does seem that in some cases apprentices have been going above and beyond by providing a full blowdry but haven't charged for this. I do apologise that this came as a shock at your last appointment, I assure you we have always had the same policy.

We are sorry to hear that your recent visit to our salon did not meet your expectations. Our goal at Saks Hair Exeter is to provide top-quality service and we apologise for any disappointment you experienced with your hair colour.

As you will be aware you booked in for an all over colour / tint. During the consultation we asked if your hair had been coloured and you advised that you had only had highlights 5 years ago. We advised that we would only be able to lighten your hair by about half a shade using an all over colour and if you wanted it lifting more then we would need to book you in for highlights. It was only once the service was complete that you then advised that you had previously had an all over darker colour applied which is why the ends were so dark.

We do take all feedback seriously and do apologise that you are not entirely satisfied. However, you did have a consultation with two of our colourists, one who is a Colour Specialist, and when asked you didn't tell us that you had a darker colour on your hair.
