Really high standards as always. The ppe was no fuss at all and the whole salon was friendly, clean and organised.

As always I cannot say anything but praise for this lovely lady.
My lock down hair still looked good even tho much longer and that is to do with the cut. The colour was great too always done by Becca. Brilliant.

My first visit since lockdown, Becca greeted me at the door and explained the high standard of safety and hygiene that had been put in place. I have missed her friendly manner and expertise and my visit to the salon was a most enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Yippee the day finally arrived after lockdown to get a haircut....Excellent cut from Simon as per usual 100% professional - all adhering to the Covid guidelines and i was glad to rid my head of lockdown frizz! Undisputably the top salon after being with Toni & Guy customer for 25 years !

I was pretty anxious about going back into the city centre, but once I got to the salon I was put at ease straight away. The new protocol was explained and the end result was a fabulous haircut ?

Today was a good hair day par excellence for all of us who love Toni & Guy but have spent Lockdown turning into hedgehogs waiting for it to reopen.

Knowing how switched-on Kelly is, I never had the slightest doubt that she would have ticked all the boxes before daring to open her doors again, but, of course, she went far further than the Government guidelines required and managed to combine all the necessary PPE and precautions with the stylishness for which her salon is renowned.

Holly on Reception took my temperature with an airport-style device, there was hand-sanitiser on the counter, and I was issued with a little bag containing a Coronavirus mask, a paper cup, and a pair of black disposable gloves. And even the PPE had a designer look about it.

The salon itself looked no different at first glance, apart from the fact that every second workstation was mothballed, but Kelly had also refreshed the decor during the shutdown.

While having a haircut during these difficult times could be a depressing affair, it certainly wasn’t at Toni & Guy.

There was the usual buzz as soon as I walked in, it was bright and airy, and the stylists were as stylish as ever, wearing some seriously eyecatching outfits and, in one case, an extraordinary and expensive looking pair of shoes with chrome trimmings.

In short, Tony & Guy is back - and I am but one of many thousands who are absolutely thrilled about it.

Kelly, who co-owns the salon, had all the grace of a swan today, as usual, but must have been paddling like mad beneath the surface for weeks to make everything appear so effortless.

Loved the haircut, too!

I turned up at the salon and duly waited outside only to be told that my appointment was at 1530, not 1430 as booked. An error had been made and the time I was booked had either been double booked or given to me incorrectly. I was told to come back at 1530 which was very inconvenient, but luckily I had no other plans later. Sakina was as lovely as ever, but the experience is not there. It’s not relaxing and I don’t like being treated like a leper, although that isn’t exclusive to the salon, just how life is now. I think charging customers for PPE is not acceptable either but I know all salons are doing this now.

I was a little apprehensive about going as this was my first “outing” since lockdown began. I needn’t have worried as there were lots of safeguarding measures in place and the staff were happy & helpful as usual. Courtney looked after me very well (as usual) and made me feel very at ease and I left with a lovely haircut - after months of looking like a yeti it was nice to look in the mirror and see a normal person again!! ? I’ve booked for 5 weeks time ?

I received the service I have become used from Kelky my only regret was that in my concern that my husband was waiting for me I forgot to offer a tip. I'll double it next time.

Amazing, Kelly is very friendly and fantastic at her profession. She knows my hair and after my cut I feel feminine and great.

Excellent experience today. Felt very safe from the moment I walked in and right throughout my treatments. Well done to Kelly and all the team for the hard work they’ve put into ensure the health and safety of staff and clients.

Friendly staff welcoming nothing to much trouble

Really good service as always during a very difficult time with the salon just announcing it was closing. Extra care was taken to disinfect equipment. Hope to be back in soon.

Gina is a great hair dresser and a lovely person. Easy to talk to. All the staff make you feel at home in a friendly atmosphere. ✂️

I love going to Gina, I will not let anybody else cut my hair, because she listens to what I want and seems to understand the qualities of my hair when others don't - it's thick and unruly!. Gina has been cutting my hair for a few year's now. Thanks Tony&Guy
