I haven’t had my hair done, in quite a long time, probably well over a year. I wanted a change but I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted. I knew I wanted to go lighter but didn’t quite have a vision in mind.

Shannon took me for a consultation & skin test, and was very thorough showing me all the options and we came up with an idea. On the day I was greeted as always with a smile and from walking in I was looked after to the highest standard by everyone including my stylist. Once I had finished my service I was blown away by the results. It was everything I had imagined and more, giving me such a boost in my self confidence!

Everyone I had spoken to on the day went above and beyond my expectations. Despite it being a while since I have been the standards and quality of services are still as high as when I first went to the salon around 16 and that is a testament in itself. I can’t recommend the salon enough!

Shannon made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I came in as that potential nightmare client that says “I don’t mind what you do” and that didn’t phase her. I said I wanted a big chop and we steadily took it up to 8 inches shorter. She checked with me at each stage and it truly was my call on length. I came back 2 weeks later, again, with some vague ideas but the laissez faire attitude and again, Shannon rolled with it. What I’ve ended up with is more than I imagined and I haven’t stopped bouncing since. I feel like a hair advert! Thank you.

I had a cut with highlights yesterday and I love the result - my hair looks it's best ever. The colour is fabulous while leaving my hair in great condition.

Every time I visit the salon I'm made to feel really welcome. Carolyn knows me and my hair and waves her magic wand and a couple of hours later Ieave feeling amazing. Can't wait for the new beauty room to open, I'll be booking a pedicure so I'll feel amazing top to toe!

Arrived at the salon to a lovely greeting and coat taken gown on and taken straight through to the main salon where I was brought a hot chocolate to eat me. Carolyn always remembers what we chatted about last visit and we were straight into conversation and chat about my hair. Then I had a lovely relaxing shampoo and treatment specifically for my hair type and a wonderful head massage which took away all my cares. Gad a fabulous cut and finish and came home to many compliments even being asked in a shop who cuts my hair! I’ve been visiting this salon over twenty three years now always a pleasure

I love going to Francesco at Ferndown. There’s always a lovely cup of coffee and friendly happy team. My hairdresser is a gem. Been going for years and hopefully many more to come. Xx
