Another amazing salon experience yesterday at Gloss. The whole team are so attentive, work really hard and Jo worked wonders with my cut and blow dry as always, tailoring it to my specific hair requirements. First class job and it still looks fab this morning. Would highly recommend them. A big thanks to everyone.

Re my last review. I apologise to Jo and all the staff for my comments. They have done a fantastic job today with my hair and I'm so very impressed and happy. An alternative toner was used and I had a really good cut and blow dry. I can't fault the salon or any of the stylists from todays or last time, it literally was just one of those things. Thankyou ?

Hair is brassy already..not really happy with colour..I appreciate its hard to get light blonde .. But I've had better results before. Also £170 for full head, tint, blowdry but no cut is much more than I have paid. Sorry ..not that impressed this time.

It was my first time at the salon as was recommended to me. I went for a full colour change, cut and blow dry . I sent Michael pictures of what I would wanted and I was really pleased with the result . All the staff were super friendly and helpful , I will definitely be back again and would highly recommend.
After only ever going to a hairdressers once a year for pretty much my whole adult life I can confirm it's not a one off, the strand of London really is the best place I've ever been. To have me back in the chair 6 weeks later is quite an achievement and booking future appointments before I leave! Thank you Amy for yet another fantastic colour. I’m very nervous about going to the hairdressers but I was made extremely comfortable, everything was explained clearly and in language I could understand.
Left the salon loving my new colour and cut being sure I could cope with it at home.
As soon as you walk through the doors the salon is clean, bright and super friendly. I have had Rachel do my hair for a few months now and have FINALLY found a hairdresser who listens to their client but also works with them to achieve the best look possible. I decided to have my hair cut off yesterday and i literally feel like a new person. So many people have complimented it and asked where i go. Totally recommend!
Wow well walked in dark came out blonde did not think in a million years would go blonde love it. Friendly professional staff , well looked after leave feeling pampered.

I had a cut and blow dry with the manager Michael, he listened to exactly what I wanted, gave helpful advise on how to get my hair back into good condition.
I have booked in again for a colour and another cut in a few months!

I booked in for root touch up, olaplex treatment and a blow dry.
Lauren did it and it feels amazing. My hair has got life back in it.
All of the staff are friendly, they all seem happy at work and the shop has a lovely atmosphere.
The only thing I would advise is to book up early as you may be disappointed. The Stand has become a popular salon and appointments go quickly.

Another great experience at The Strand of London. My Hollywood colour blend still going strong after 6 months so just here to get my dreaded greys gone and trim. There’s always such a great feel to this place, every single member of staff is so lovely and engaging. Always have a great laugh with Michael, he’s so knowledgeable and down to earth I can just relax and know I’m in capable hands, plus ghd curls he did were to die for!!

Again I had a great experience at this well talented staffing company:) I will book again soon and always greater with a smile and offered a drink while having my hair done. For any one to touch Emma's hair due to her ASD and not like king touch you have to be very special, Emma instantly had a connection with Amy and let her do her hair (with minimal fuss from Emma) something which has never happened as Emma has always been stressed and not enjoyed her hair cut, not only did Amy go above and beyond Emma loved her hair and wants to go again to the salon and will only let Amy touch her hair. Thankyou for making Emma's experience fabulous xx
My 10-year-old son really did not want his haircut after many bad experiences with his longer hair, I know it was hard to tell in the salon Michael, whether he liked it or not, but when he came out, he said it's the best haircut he's ever had and he's happy to come back to you, one happy boy thank you ?

Super friendly salon and Michael did an amazing white blonde balayage, so in love with my hair colour and the colour blend is perfection! Would absolutely recommend.
Took my daughters for their haircuts after trialling other salons in the area and couldn't have gone better. Incredible experience from start to finish, correcting the wrong doings from elsewhere. Lovely staff who listen and provide suggestions from their expert experience. My daughters were so impressed too, they cannot wait to show off at school and go back to the salon. Looking forward to treating myself next and know I will be in the very best hands with Amy!

With a busy juggle between work and family I struggle to find the time to get my hair done but have been disappointed with Balyage.
Michael recommended the Hollywood Method so I went for it and I’m so happy with it and it’s going to be so easy to maintain.
I’ve finally found a local hairdresser I’m going to stick with long term!
