Having recently lost my hair due to treatment I visited this awful salon. On entering wearing a chemo scarf ! i was told to take a seat. Within minutes a girl approached and said "is it just a trim!?" Shocked I pulled my scarf back to reveal there was no hair to trim. We were then taken to a room by the so called wig specialist. Honestly she knows nothing. She had no wigs on display and showed me the only 2 she had. She harped on about only having human hair and reminded us that "this is a high end salon" these wigs are high end price at 750 pounds. I stayed quiet but eventually could not suffer her rude presumption that it was too expensive for me. I told her forget telling me the cost. If I like it then cost is no issue. She then said if I bought it . I needed to visit the salon monthly and pay 50 pounds to maintain it. When she was told that "what I'm terminally ill I have good and bad days. I cant commit to buying something where I need to be well enough to visit the salon. "oh dont worry " she said buy it and I'll send somebody to your house" Ok we said well if I buy I'm entitled to the vat off. Well! she looked blank and said noo. I said yes check government website. So she replied I dont think my supplier will agree to that but I'll find out and call you tomorrow. No call came but today I've visited a fantastic REAL wig specialist at wigs n pieces and purchased 2 beautiful wigs. Do not be taken in by this salon's claims of being wig specialists. I assure any reader they are not.

Lovely staff really friendly and welcoming from the sweet young lady who was at reception and Nikki who worked her magic cant wait for my hair to grow back longer then i will be back ?

Excellent service from start to finish. The receptionist was very welcoming and Lauren my stylist was very friendly and extremely helpful giving me a very professional cut and colour..

I was lucky to have a colour and cut this morning at Alexanders, their first day of reopening. Nikki did my colour and Alex my much needed cut. I am absolutely delighted with both the colour and the cut and came out of the Salon feeling like a different person. It was so nice to see their friendly faces again In spite of the face masks etc. I am a very happy lady today.

Great salon, brilliant atmosphere, all staff are kind and friendly. Kerri did my hair today and I can say she did an amazing job of it. Over the moon with how it turned out :)

Just had THE most AMAZING salon experience from start to finish..and it was on a Groupon voucher!! I must admit I was a little apprehensive booking in on a Groupon deal worried that Groupon customer’s are treat differently to the full paying customer, but I needn’t have worried!! From the first phone call I made to book in I was given first class customer service, was able to choose any day of the week, even when I explained it was a Groupon voucher the lovely girl on reception was so polite and explained everything, made me feel at ease and confident that I’d made the right decision straight away! I had a half head colour cut & blow dry with the lovely Nikki, Nikki was amazing!!?so easy to talk to, she listened to exactly what I wanted and explained the full process?and my hair has never looked so good!?I absolutely LOVE it!! immediately booked in again with Nikki for 8wks wks time?I’ve had so many compliments at work today and 2 colleagues have rang the salon today to book in?‍♀️Thank you Alexander’s for giving me my mojo back?

Nikki gave me a fabulous hair and colour I love it.

Had my hair coloured, cut and blow dried by Nikki and I am very happy with the result. After discussing it with Nikki she did exactly what I asked for. It is always a pleasant experience at Alexander’s.

Due to me having car issues,my dad took me,so I was in a rush &asked to miss my hair wash&blowdry.However Lauren did me a dry cut &its fantastic, I can see all of the new layers. Also they ve booked me in for another day for my blowdry .Will be getting my hair done again next time .Thankyou.

I must say that all of the girls at the salon are fantastic!!! From walking through the door right up to leaving. The service is amazing and the greeting off the 2 front of house ladies couldn't be any more warming. The stylists are all very friendly and professional and helped answer and questions I had!
I will definitely be back to Alexander's!!

Used a Groupon deal for a full head of highlights and I love it! Lauren did such a great job. My hair is looking very sleek and the condition feels really healthy and smooth. I will be coming back before my birthday for some more salon pampering. My mum came with me and had a cut at the same time, she is very happy with her hairstyle too!

I took up the Groupon offer as I needed a quick tidy of my hair cut. Niki did a good job and I was very pleased with the cut and blow dry.

Used a groupon to have half head if highlights, cut and finish. Had let my hair grow last year due to spinal surgery and bei g unable to get out much. It desperately needed sorting out and Lauren did a great job, listening to my vague ideas and making my hair look great. Have booked to return so this could be my new salon. All lovely staff, and great coffee too ?❤

My hair was disaster really, in my opinion attention to cut and dry was interrupted few times! £37 not worth it !***** was nice girl but lacked knowledge & experience in my opinion if I’m paying top money I would expect better there was more but let’s just say I won’t be back.

Sarah was amazing with my two young boys, the cuts are great.
