I get very self conscious and have anxiety going to new places and salons, from having my colour consultation to having a full head of highlights Beth was so welcoming and fantastic. I also had a problem with my lower back and at all times she made me feel comfortable and happy. Lots of cups of tea were given which is always a bonus! I have now left the salon with gorgeous hair and confidence, something I've lacked for a long time! So thankyou very much Beth you are an absolute superstar!! I would reccomenr yourself or the salon to everyone! X

Just had my hair done with Alex. Firstly, what a wonderful atmosphere and such a beautifully clean salon. I was greeted with smiles and an offer of a drink and a lovely comfy sofa.
Alex came to sit with me and asked me what I would like for my hair. He listened and I could see him analysing my hair as I showed him a photo on my phone of a style I'd like.
I was then shampooed by an adorable lady Bonita. The shampoo was so relaxing and the chairs are very supportive for anybody that may struggle with mobility. I simply adore the products used on my hair. I was told these were Revlon. I am totally sold on them.
Alex then started my hair. He is such a lovely guy. Really warm and very attentive to his client. He makes you feel the centre of attention.
As for his cutting skills. I have got to say I was amazed! Really amazed!! I have had some amazing hairdressers in my time (all trained by Alex Turnbull) but this cut was something else. He is an artist! The transformation was astounding. I have never been able to replicate the picture I showed him in the six years I've wanted it, but there it was at last.
His blow drying skills are fascinating. I now know why this man has the outstanding reputation and the awards he so deservingly holds. He then took one more look at the photo I'd shown him and with a few snips here and there and there it was... an absolute work of art!
Alex Turnbull is a true genius! I loved my previous hairdresser, really loved him but I have been astounded by the talents of the lovely Alex Turnbull.
Do yourself a huge favour and book an appointment with this salon. If you've been before then you need to book in again and see what has happened to this place. Well done to Alexanders Hair. You guys rock!

Have been going to the salon for years. Skye is an amazing stylist, puts you at ease and I love my hair every time she does it. She also put my hair up for my wedding, which I loved. Have highlights every few months, usually with Lexi who is also great and always does a fantastic job. All the staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend the salon to anyone.

I'm so thrilled to have been lucky enough to move back home and be able to visit Alexander's. Skye's always amazing and everyone's so friendly and welcoming. I also adore my head massages! Happy Christmas to you all and 'Thank You' for always looking after me xs

I had a lovely relaxing experience on my recent visit (3/11/16). Skye gave great advice about colours for my hair and listened to what I wanted. She produced a fab new shorter hairstyle for me which I love. All staff were very attentive and polite. Would recommend Alexanders to anyone.

We popped into alexanders as my daughter wanted some hair extensions on arrival into the shop we were greeted by s lady called Beth whom was extremely helpful also other staff were welcoming and friendly lovely relaxed salon will be a regular now and would recommend to anyone 5***** 100% I recommend ????

Just been to Alexander's for a hair appointment.. the ladie that I meet there was called Skye she was lovely and friendly was very helpful so booked in to have my hair done on Friday carnt wait x

I changed hairdressers as my previous one was to far to travel my stylist was very professional long chat before a full head of hi lights loved the colour and cut. Downside the products used in salon made my hair feel very sticky and coase had to wash out next day salon very dark inside and the coffee was awful. Having said that have booked again for further appointment and fully intend to change to this salon

Alexander and his Team have cut my hair for years.
I always get a cheerful greeting when I pop in (usually last minute) as I can never stick to appointments due to work commitments. All Alexanders stylists work to a very high standard and Im never disappointed with the end result who ever they manage to russle up last minute.
See you all soon in 2or3 maybe 4or5-6 weeks????

Had my usual cut and blow dry with Skye, an enjoyable experience as always - even went a bit wavy for a change.

Hair highlighted,very happy with the colour and the new hair products. Friendly and helpful staff.

After having my hair done at a renowned hair stylist for years,I decided that I needed a change , hence approached Alex. I was pleasantly surprised by his attitude and hair styling abilities. I was very pleased when I left tday.alex is good at what he does and he proved himself tday.

Had a cut and blow dry with Skye today. She did an amazing job listened to what I wanted to achieve and did an amazing job. Very pleased And made to feel welcome by all the staff.

It's the staff that make my visit so enjoyable. They are professional, courteous and great stylists !! The products are of a good quality and my hair always feels and smells lovely. In my opinion the only negative is that the salon is in need of a makeover, it's rather jaded and shabby round the edges.

I had the Global Keratin treatment done on Saturday 9th July by Lexi. Lexi told me all about the treatment and the best way to treat my hair in order to get the most from the treatment. Lexi and the other stylists as well as the assistants were all very friendly and professional. The treatment itself is great!! It's removed the frizz from my hair and even had an added benefit of relaxing my curls a little!!

Went for a cut and blow dry Friday 8th July with Craig! Fantastic haircut fantastic staff, made to feel very welcome and not pushy with the products! I was made to feel very relaxed, something I find is not always the case in some salons! I will certainly be back , not at all pretentious. Thank you very much

I would just like to thank Emily & all the staff at Alexander's. I've been 4 times, had my hair extensions put in back in February and last 3 & half months longer then expected, even the hair extensions was still in good quality. My hairs grown couple of inches over the last 4 months and is now in a better condition. Now I've just got my hair done again couldn't resist to get my hair extensions back in! I love them! Staff are lovely and welcoming, always give you the best advice for your hair. So pleased with my hair! Definitely recommend for anyone to come here!
