Had my hair done by heidi, colour cut & blow dry, soo soo pleased with the results, it,s been a while since my last visit, due to family illness, really made to feel welcome, service amazing, salon perfect and relaxing, will be back soon, thank you heidi, l love it.

There is nothing better than walking into a salon with a smile from the lovely Judy on reception and made to feel so welcome.
The salon is full of such warm and friendly staff, it’s such a beautiful place.
The creme de la creme then being the highly talented and wonderfully welcoming Alex Turnbull. He is such a talent and natural artist in his work. It’s a privilidge to have somebody so talented in Hull.

Love coming here . Beth did a lovely job as always . She was very patient whilst I tried to decide what to have done and gave great advice . Beth is so lovely and it is always a pleasure to spend time with her

I wouldn't generally visit such a fancy salons, assuming it would be out of my price range. However, my daughter (13) lost her hair when she had chemotherapy and having heard such good reviews and needing professional advice, I put my preconceived ideas aside and messaged the salon. They're response was prompt and Alex the salon owner managed to fit Cerys in the same day. He immediately put us at ease and Cerys was confident enough to remove her wig so he could look at her hair underneath. She has NEVER shown me her head since she lost her hair, so it was a very emotional experience for me.
At the free consultation, Alex trimmed her wig and cut her a soft fringe which really suits her and makes it look instantly more natural. We were not rushed and Alex genuinely wanted to help her get the look she has been hoping for... Tomorrow they will be dyeing and blow drying her wig, to match her new hair, that is peeping though and at a very reasonable price.
We have every confidence in their expertise and cant wait to see the result.
An all round 5 star experience. I will definitely be returning

Went to get highlights today without really knowing what colours I wanted or what to expect. Heidi was really lovely and did a fabulous job!

I’ve not long moved to this are and it normally takes me a long time to trust someone with my hair but since coming here and meeting Beth I’m amazed I’m am more than happy to leave her to carry on and trust her fully as I like to change the colour a fair bit, everyone is so nice and friendly, always made to feel welcome definitely recommend here wholeheartedly ????

I arrived at the salon with butterflies doing somersaults in my stomach. Alex made me very much at ease and also Judy .
I cannot express my fears and my embarrassment but I can't say how much I was made welcome.

I've never been one to experiment much with my hair because I've always been a little scared of making the wrong choices but I went to see alexander for a wig consultation following chemo and thanks to his good eye and guidance came away with something totally different for me but which I absolutely love. I tentatively walked into the Alexander a couple of days ago with a very bad hair colour done at another salon to ask if they could rectify it. I was assured it could be improved and today, following the necessary patch test, Heidi has done an amazing job!! It's the best hair colour I've had in years, subtle and natural looking. I have booked for my next appointment in December. Thank you to all the staff.

First time to the salon today with my 11 yo old son. He had a much needed haircut and I had a cut a blow dry. Our stylists were Kim and Sarah both girls did a fantastic job and we left feeling fabulous.. the salon staff were really friendly so much so we’ve booked in again! Thanks for making my hair look great again

An appointment that had to be changed (because of transport) was not an issue and slotted in before Kim's first appointment. Excellent salon and staff as always.

I am so happy with my colour. I visited this salon for the first time and decided to try a bold and different colour. The stylist, Kim listened to me and clearly knew how to achieve what I wanted. The result was so much better than I had imagined and I love it. Plus you can buy a product that is the exact match to top up the bold colour as it fades. I thought this was a great idea. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I will definitely return ind the future.

I have recently moved to the area, and decided to get my hair done. I used to go to another salon but I wasn't over happy with the results so I needed another salon. after looking at the internet and walking round the village I decided to try Alexanders. I was amazed at how I got an appointment so quickly as they are always busy when I have walked past. I had a vague idea what I wanted doing and what colour I wanted but wasn't 100% after a consultation with Sarah and finally deciding on the cut and colour I went ahead. I was absolutely blown away with the results and can't stop looking in the mirror. I am so pleased and will definitely be recommending Alexanders to other people. And I will be returning. Its such a friendly salon with a great atmosphere and the staff are great. Thank you again Sarah for my great new hairstyle.

Love the new hair extensions. Colour match is perfect . Given me more “body” to my fine hair. Needed a second cut as a bit long but perfect now. A “new”me

Got what I asked for!

I went to see Alex today about my hair loss I’ve had since losing my dad a couple of months ago and I was an emotional mess but he calmed me right down and made me feel at such ease. He advised me so well on what to do and gave me some treatments and a good cut. He’s even managed to get the curls back in my hair from just one sitting which means a lot to me! The whole team was so lovely with me and the environment was very relaxed. Riley who washed my hair was also very good with me as I have bad anxiety so I aren’t the easiest person to handle and he even had me laughing! I would definitely recommend

The salon always has a really nice relaxed feel to it with the lovely Judy on reception. I have just had the GK Hair treatment and what an amazing difference, my hair has gone from being thick and unmanageable at times to shiny and sleek and Beth did it amazingly, Beth also coloured my hair recently and always chooses the colours that suit me best and I would recommend Beth and GK Hair to everyone. Thank you Beth you are so talented in what you do, you know me and my hair and I wouldn't go anywhere else xx

Beth was fabulous- she’s been cutting my hair for years so was naturally my first choice to do my hair for my wedding. She styled my hair perfectly- she knows what I wanted better than I could describe. I can’t wait for Beth to do my hair on my wedding day.

Kim was wonderful and transformed my hair into something I never thought it could be. She restored the life and gave me a vibrant, lovely colour. So so happy!!!

I have no complaint apart from I think it is terrible they have different prices depending on the person who does your hair and we are not told. I was not told this and went to the salon with my sister who paid less for the same thing. As a standard we should be told it is so and so cutting your hair but they are senior so it is this price or you could come in at 4pm and it would be this price. I think that is bad service and as a customer should always be informed!!

Huge thanks to Kim for an amazing job on my daughter Millys hair! She took her time explaining what she was goin to do and the result is fabulous! First visit to the salon, would highly recommend :)
