Everytime I visit the salon it always has a really lovely feel about the place really warming and friendly. I had a full head highlights today with the lovely Beth who always chooses the colours that best suit my hair, wonderful as always thank you Beth and thank you to Judi for the cappuccinos xx

Took my son for his hair cut today. The owner was so lovely with him as was the stylist who cut his hair. They were very patient. This salon is really stylish. I would highly recommend.

This was my first visit to this salon.
I had booked Selena to do my hair and I'm so pleased that I did.
She totally transformed my hair. The new colour is amazing and I'm so pleased I trusted her advice and just left it to her.
I don't usually relish trips to the hairdressers but I have to say I felt relaxed , welcomed and I really enjoyed the whole experience .
I have already booked my next appointment with the lovely talented Selina ?

Not happy with my visit today. All I got for my money was a layered hairstyle I have been trying to grow out for the last 5 years even though I paid for a restyle and told the stylist what I didn't want. The more I think on it the more unhappy I am. The salon was dirty and needs repainting. The staff were nice enough but not the experts I thought I was paying for.

Haven't been to a hairdresser in a while so decided to pay more for a quality cut with an expert. I was certainly charged for this. Explained clearly before start that I was trying to grow my hair and grow out layers and also that each time I had been to a hairdresser previously they had cut off more than I was happy with. Sadly this also happened at this hairdressers. To begin with the cut went well but finished with dry stage cut which lost inches off the sides, the very part I was most concerned with meaning I know have some kind of layered stepped fringe?!!! . I am sorely disappointed and upset and have left feeling worse than when I arrived and over 45 pounds lighter for a cut and blow dry. Constant pushing of product and complete lack of listening ability means I will never return.

We were both surprise with excellent service, the way I wanted my hair looks like the have done. We'll definitely coming back for sure I recommend to everyone else. ?????

On my first visit I was apprehensive as I had been to many stylist who basically haven't met my expectations when having my hair coloured. They've rather given me the wrong colour or haven't coloured deep enough. So taking the plunge and booking into Alexander's I was initially informed the process by Sarah and as a new customer was given assurances which involved a patch test and as a gesture for my custom the service would involve a 50% reduction. So taking the plunge, today I had my hair coloured by Sarah and was amazed by the service on offer and the quality in the procedure which made feel relaxed, totally. I can't ever recall a stylist or salon being so intricate in their preparation and detailed in their ethic, which has left me feeling exhilarated with this establishment. During the whole process the treatment was explained in each stage and what each stage contained. These guys made me feel very welcomed, kept me in copious amounts of coffee and even gave me a complimentary head massage. The whole experience has left a very warm impression, which seems lacking at other Salons. I'll definitely be booking myself back in, even if it's just for the compulsory wash n blow dry. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a first class service. I just hope this service continues in this vein should I become a regular. I now need my 'LoveHair' tablets to kick in!

I love coming to Alexanders, I'm always made to feel really welcome and everyone is really nice . I come each time with a picture of the haircut id like on my mum's phone ( usually a footballer) and Alex always does brilliant .

My first visit I wanted a change from blonde to bit warmer, I love it but it will take getting use to as it's such a dramatic change for me. Kim was lovely and spent a lot of time drying it I never felt rushed. Because I was a new customer I got 50%off which was a massive saving, not sure paying full price I could afford to keep going back which is a shame

Kim's done my hair a few times now and she's a very lovely person who make sure you feel very comfortable while in the salon. She just recent dyed my hair and I've never been more impressed! Lovely salon and fanatic staff.

Today I visited Alexanders salon for my very first haircut, after my hair grew back following 5 years of chemotherapy.
I was very nervous, as it was my first haircut... but, Alex and the staff were absolutely brilliant, and made me very comfortable and happy.

Had an appointment with Kim this morning and her confidence has improved 100% with no help just a few words from Beth.

Today I had an amazing experience as always having my hair done by Alex. I walked in a shaggy mess and walked out a completely different person. Alex completely transformed my hair. As always Alex knew what I was wanting and did an amazing job picking out a new colour and re-styling my hair. It took over 3 hours to do my hair today and it was absolutely no trouble at all. As always all the staff was very friendly, attentive and chatty. Alex ensured that every customer was having the best experience while in the salon. As always Alex advised me on the best products I need to maintain my new colour and style my hair. I will be back soon and as always highly recommend Alex and his team when asked about my hair. I had a great experience at Alexander Salon in Hull after I went there for hair highlight with Sarah the color consultant. Apart from being very friendly and kind she treated my hair with extra professionalism.
The price was very cheap after having the first visit 50%discount.

Selina turned my harsh washed out ombré is to an amazing natural ombré using colours I never would have chosen myself but absolutely loved!! It's nice to have a hairdresser you trust with your hair and never have to worry if it will go wrong. My first time at Alexander's but I'll only be getting my hair done here by Selina from now on.

I had my hair cut and coloured by Selina. I'm so happy with the final result of my balyage, it looks so natural and the cut has made my hair look so so much healthier! Selina also kindly curled my hair for me as I was going to a wedding. I loved it and it lasted the full day and night without dropping out! Really pleased with my hair and would definitely recommended booking in with selina.
