I always love my experience at female ego, all the staff there are great. Bethan does my hair and she is such a lovely girl that always makes me feel comfortable, not to mention she has some fantastic skills at doing hair. Cannot recommend this place enough!

It was my first appointment back following lockdown and I felt so at ease, all the guidelines were in place and felt a safe environment.
But most of all as always absolutely amazing service from the wonderful Bethan who worked magic with my hair.
Always such a nice salon to be in, all the staff are lovely at Female Ego and would recommend to anybody!

Amazing as always. Precautions taken were amazing and service as good as always. Bethan is amazing at what she does and walked out feeling like me again.

The salon has done an amazing job. I felt safe with all the procedures they had in place but all this didn’t detract from the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Mandy my stylist ensured I was happy with my cut and blow dry. I am very happy.

Ive never left my roots for 3 months before but after my first appointment back with louise she had me leaving the salon feeling like me again i absolutly love the colour and it feels amazing ive had so many compliments already ? another fantastic job as always well done to all the girls with all the new guidlines put in place they took it all in their stride i felt safe and relaxed from entering the salon to leaving ? xx

My first haircut since lockdown. This was a much needed cut and the steps that you guys gave gone to so that we can come back is great. Thank you so much for a great cut. Best salon in the North without a doubt.

Fantastic as always but feel extra special now as lockdown has been a long 15 weeks jo always does a fantastic job and I love my hair all the girls are lovely and do some fantastic work and a thank you to Donna who kept in touch during lockdown and rang me as soon as she had an opening date thank you ladies you are well appreciated

Got to admit I messed with my hair a bit over lockdown. Donna had her work cut out and after many hours I was a stone lighter( after the haircut) with a beautiful colour and cut, Thankyou. The standards in place for Covid 19 made me feel extremely safe.

I had an appointment this afternoon, opening day after lockdown. I was fully informed of the new procedures before my arrival. The salon had been rearranged to accommodate everybody at a safe distance and all the staff had the correct ppe. Louise did a fantastic job of transforming my hair from a blonde mess with 2 inch roots by putting in highlights and finishing off with a pink toner. I also had the opalex treatment on my hair so it now feels fantastic as well as looking great. I have been visiting the salon & Louise for the last 18mths and am always pleased with the results so much so that I have all my appointments booked until the end of the year. Everybody in the salon are all very friendly and make you feel welcome.

Different way of doing things but still the care and treatment as always felt great at finally being able to have my hair done. You made me feel safe after being indoors for a long time. Thank you Jordaine and Danielle for washing my hair see you soon xxx

Had my hair done in to a short bob because it was long and annoying me. This was the first time Bethan has cut my hair and I loved it! Bethan is very talented I love the hair colouring she does too! Thank you for a lovely hair cut! :)

It was amazing felt so pampered all the staff was so kind they really talked me through what they where going to do with my hair and it looks fantastic really happy with it booked my next appointment for 6wks time place is so clean and modern love it would highly recommend it xx

I had a very good experience, from the brilliant relaxing shampoo and treatments, the shampooist did a fantastic massage as she washed my hair.
The stylist was brilliant very friendly and made me feel special, would highly recommend
