I’m a regular at this salon, Lauren is just amazing, she listened to what colour I wanted and knew how to make it happen. I left the salon feeling amazing.

Today’s weekly visit I enjoyed reclining on the bed chair. With having wet hair I felt cold and Lola / Paula wrapped a cosy blanket around me. Another beautiful experience … thank you Mandy 🤓x

I brought an appointment forward luckily I was offered the next day so that was brilliant, I didn’t stay long literally Fermat applied the colour and had to leave (children needed lifts) but my hair is amazing again

Had my hair done by Ferhat this morning, he always welcomes you with a friendly smile.

My daughters had such a lovey experience at the salon today with Alex - and they both left saying it was the best haircut they’ve ever had. He really listened to what they wanted and executed it perfectly- so much so that I’ve just booked my next colour and cut with him too. Very impressed!

I had highlights and a cut and blowdry with Ferhat today and I was so pleased with the results! I will be coming back to have my hair done again by Ferhat.

I've needed to change my colour as I have too much white/silver. Was worried how it would look, but no need to worry with Alex - feels and looks fabulous.

I am a bit of last minute booker and so I tend to have different stylists all the time. However, it never matters here because the whole team are amazing. I always have confidence that I will walk out happy.

Ferhat is very welcoming, takes time on consultation to ensure he achieves your hair goals. By far the best Blow dry I have had in Hull.

After having a really bad experience with a previous salon I was very cautious and losing hope to find an amazing stylist or salon to help me achieve my dream hairstyle/colour!
I'm really happy with my discussion with Lauren in helping me understand what hair needs and for helping me get some shape and bounce on to my hair! Everyone seemed so welcoming and the whole salon experience is nice,calm and relaxing! I can't wait to get a start with my vivid hair colour 🤞 because of this experience I'll be definitely back again and continue to do so! Thank you strand! And thank you Lauren ❤️

Very welcoming salon - greeted immediately I was through the door . Fehat was very attentive and listen to my request on colouring etc and showed me example of the colours to tone in with root colour etc. I was offered drinks - which was lovely along with biscuit . Very relaxing experience ( wash basin has reclining chair) . My hair felt like silk at the end of the process ( lovely conditioner- smell was amazing) and the colour and style was exactly to my liking!

Literally everything about this place is just perfect. It’s such a calming environment. Comfy chairs, fabulous coffee, relaxing ambiance. You can tell that all the staff adore each other and it gives the place such a welcoming vibe. I’ve not even got into the hair yet. While all of the stylists have their own speciality, they’re also so well rounded they can do anything. I’ve had my hair done by so many different people there, I’ve been going since Abbie opened her first salon lord knows how many years ago, I’ve never had a cut and colour anything short of spectacular. I’m always blown away by the level of talent and commitment to customer service. I can’t recommend The Strand highly enough. I know I’d never go anywhere else. The advice and aftercare is stop on. They recommend hair products but never push a hard sell. It’s not just products either, if you sign up to the newsletter you get so much good advice for making sure your hair always looks it’s best. I never feel as stunning and confident as when I leave The Strand with a fresh new look. It’s heavenly.

Only been coming to Anita for a short while but she always hits the brief. Showing her inspiration photos and she always nails it taking into consideration the limitations of my own hair and gives a style that compliments my own waves.

Wow what an amazing salon. I was greeted with a lovely warm welcome and asked if I would like a drink straight away. I was served with a coffee and a pastry. Very lovely touch. I was made to feel special and the salon had a luxurious feel. My hairdresser Feret was very skilled and attentive. I live my new hair cut and am so happy I have finally found a salon I want to keep returning too. Thank you for a wonderful experience and will look forward to recommending your services to my friends and family. You get a goody bag when leaving but I wont spoil the surprise. 100% recommend this salon. Best wishes
