Antia is just simply amazing at what she does. I leave feeling happy every time. My hair has never looked so good. The care and time she takes on my hair has never changed and I've been going to Anita for over a year.

Alex.....what a stylist and what a colourist. He is one of the very few hairdressers who completely understood what I wanted, and did an amazing job! Fantastic attention to detail and truly passionate about his career. I will be back!!!!

I attended my first appointment today, I was seen on time and welcomed as soon as I stepped into the salon. I just had a dry trim but everything was perfect and am happy with the end result. Would absolutely recommend and come again. Thank you!

Alex was amazing from start to finish. Really made me feel like I was in safe hands. Conversated with me about what I wanted, came up with a treatment plan and executed it perfectly. Got my colour, cut and style exactly how I wanted. 5 star service throughout. Very friendly and easy to talk to aswel.

From entering the salon theres a warm and welcoming vibe in the place. Friendly, professional young girl washed my hair and Anita, as always, listened to what I wanted and hair looked amazing when I left! Fab range of hair products to buy also to compliment the style. Thank you

From walking into the immaculate salon, we were greeted so warmly and given an excellent cup of coffee served beautifully.
My appointment with Ferhat exceeded expectations! The shampoo was really good and strong hands really worked into my scalp followed by a wonderful scalp treat that smelled of peppermint, it was so refreshing! Ferhat then did an amazing job of blow drying my very straight hair into waves! Normally it wold be dead straight by the time I got home! But it’s still wavy today quite unbelievable for my hair! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Strand to any one looking for a first class salon, using the best products and highly skilled hairstylists. I don’t colour my hair anymore as I am happy with the natural grey but I will certainly revisit for another treatment! Thankyou all very much

I always recommend people to go to a good hairdressers if they want healthy hair. Never take the home cheap option because then it’s expensive to fix the problems people having when they don’t use professional advice and right products. Strand and its staff are great.

This is my first time being at the salon and I had the most amazing experience in there. The staff are welcoming and very accommodating offering you drinks and making sure you're comfortable. An in depth consultation at the beginning of my appointment to decide what results I’d like, after care information given and products suggested to me, also received a lovely little welcome pack from the salon, all staff were lovely and professional and I’ve walked away with amazing results! My first visit was for a consultation & patch test. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. I told them what I wanted they advised on colour and cut. Analysed my hair and picked out some errors from previous salon I used. Made me feel very excited to proceed to book an appointment. Looking forward to getting my hair done. Everything was good, the end result was okay but wasn’t very sure about the colour

Ferhat took time to listen to the ideas I had for my hair. He took time to explain what we could achieve and how we could build on it. One huge thing for me is that the same person washed my hair cut coloured and checked on me and finished my hair. One of my pet hates is when you have to sit and wait for your hair to be finished whilst they squeeze somebody else in. Then they get someone to wash your colour off. It’s lovely and refreshing that one person looks after you from start to finish. Was so pleased with end product my hair felt lovely

Practically being a salon virgin I was a bit anxious about my visit but Alex made me really comfortable and at ease.
He is friendly, polite, knowledgeable and professional.
He took care of my blonde hair and made me feel a million dollars after putting some amazing waves in my hair.
Although he didn't cut alot of my hair, by putting some lovely bangs in it totally transformed my style and really suits my face.

Unfortunately this wasn’t a positive salon experience for me. I have visited the salon a few times before and have been happy with the service but this time wasn’t as good.
The appointed started 3O minutes later that it should have. I wasn’t asked which colour toner I wanted and came out with ashy hair that I’m not a fan of.
Then I had a blow dry but again wasn’t asked how I like my hair to be styled. So I presumed I’d been given a waft off but then was charged over £50 at the till for blow dry and finish.
The table and gown had someone’s hair on it.
I am happy with the cut and result of my hair overall but I have never had a hair dresser not ask me how I would like my hair to be styled before. Or ask what kind of result I wanted from a toner.

Lovely new salon and Abi is the best!
So knowledgeable about styles/methods/products. Great atmosphere in the shop and they have the best chairs for washing your hair. No more neck pain! I’ve never seen these before! That attention to detail is sprinkled over the entire set up, you can’t go wrong!

Alex was wonderful. He is a skilled hair designer but also listens.
I am autistic and have always had social and sensory issues regarding hairdressers. Hence I always go in looking like a haystack. But Alex worked his magic and a guy up the road said how fresh I look and my very discerning daughter was impressed.
It is so important people are aware of invisible disabilities and Alex grasped it!
Well done Alex and I’ll give him a reference any day.
Incidentally another daughter trains professionals in autism awareness if you ever want someone to talk to staff on the subject but I can do it too. I spoke to 160 health professionals once about what it is like to be autistic.
A glamorous industry like hairdressing always benefits from the human touch!

Really had a nice experience. It was my first time to book at The Strand after seeing their Balayage package at Instagram. Abigail together with Ferhat and Abi were all friendly yet very professional. They asked me what I'd like for my hair, looked at the pictures/videos of the hair color I'd like to copy. They gave suggestions too and explained everything that they're going to do. Once in while they offered refreshment too. They also gave advice how to maintain my hair colour and keep my hair in good condition. I really love the outcome and would definitely be back again!
