I’m always very wary when visiting a hairdresser due to some bad experiences in the past. I decided to visit Toni&Guy because I wanted to cut my waist-length hair to a pixie cut, they have an excellent reputation so I decided that was my best shot at getting the perfect haircut.

First, the receptionist was wonderful. She asked if I was donating my hair to kids with cancer - it’s the first time a hairdresser has told me about this service! I gladly donated my hair and for me it made my experience all the more special!

My hairdresser Sam was amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted AND what I needed out of the haircut. I thought I’d have to compromise on the look due to my industrial piercing and cowlick, but the result was amazing. The result was a pixie cut that’s unique to me, it totally suits me! Sam framed it around my best features and, instead of trying to hide my cowlick like other hairdressers, made it part of the style.

Weeks later I still love the haircut, I’m totally in love still. My mother even said she wonders why I didn’t have it done sooner! :) I honestly couldn’t be happier. It’s the best hairdressing experience I’ve ever had, I’ll definitely be returning! The staff are all so friendly it’s more like being around friends :) Going you Toni&Guy you pay for personalised service rather than a quick in and out with a generic cut.

Sam is amazing at what she does and I fully recommend her. She’s makes me feel 100% comfortable and there’s always a conversation flowing. Not once has she ever left me doubting the style she does, she understands what I would like each and every time.

I always recommend Toni & Guy. Even my mum comes here now and on holiday in Turkey last year everybody asked me where I got my hair done!!
The whole experience is so pleasant.
The value for what you get is great too! So many people out there trying to charge the earth for something when I would much rather come to a trusted name such as yourself and pay for something amazing!

I love my new style.
On a not so great note, I was not advised of the price of the additional conditioner treatment. The charge was not mentioned at all. I didn’t realise until it was too late.

Sam did our son first haircut and she was absolutely professional and helped me so much while yanis was screaming and pulling scissors ✂️. A massive thank you ? for today! Also kia and ella ( work experience) helped me sooonmuch and i want to say a biggg thank you?

My 1st time at a toni and guy salon loved it the team were excellent from the receptionist to Chloe who put me at ease about a colour change that would suit me... Ann who made me feel relaxed and done my hair excellent so i found my new hairdressers in hull !

Always go to Sam for my cuts and asked her to cut my 11 year old sons. He has not been in a hairdressers for almost 2 years and has panic at the thought of it. He now resembled cousin It and was getting fed up of brushing and tying it up. Sam did an amazing job and he is beyond pleased. Such a cool modern cut can't thank you enough x
