....since the wonderful Will Wells died so unexpectedly, and I still can't believe it. He cut my hair for over 20 years and became a real friend. I haven't been able to return to T&G since as his presence will always be there. My thoughts are with his family and colleagues. Thank you Will.

Heartbroken to learn that Will, who cut my hair for 15 years, has passed away. Still can’t quite believe it. By far the best hairdresser I’ve ever had, and the funniest kindest man. My thoughts are with all his family and staff at the salon. Bye bye lovely Will xx

I am so saddened by the news that the fabulous Will Wells has died suddenly. He cut my hair for 25 years and always made me feel special. I shall miss him dreadfully. My heart goes out to his partner, colleagues and friends who must be just devastated. RIP lovely Will.

Think before you spend, overall time wasters. After changing city and not being to the hairdressers for 8 months I thought I'd have a big change... Sadly didn't end up with that. I had a baliage with Morrisons cling film, after being used to foils that was a big change. Not one I'm used to. Then the cuttist came in and seemed lost without a picture. She followed the colourist's recommendation of "plenty of layers" after telling me "baliage normally goes with curly hair". To be honest it was not the experience I had expected. There are plenty of other places which are more down to earth in town. I haven't been long in this city but I know for sure what is worth a second round from hair salons...

Had my hair done by Will last Wednesday. I can’t thank him enough, He made me feel listened to, did exactly what I asked for. Lovely chat too.
Perfect and can not recommend him enough, Thankyou Will for making me feel like a star. ????

Yesterday afternoon I came in to have a haircut which I can honestly say was a waste of money. As a customer I feel that it’s the stylist job to advice me on what they feel is appropriate, instead I was asked many a time for my approval which left me feeling very unsettled. When I have been before it has been a relaxing and pleasurable experience which in this case was not. Had I known of the little if not none professionalism this stylist lacked, I would have specified a stylist and walked out feeling like a satisfied customer. Very upset and disappointed and felt it needed be mentioned.

Great cut and blow dry in a very safe Covid aware environment.

I always receive excellent service here and look forward to my visits. Toni and Guy is a very good hairdressers and I would highly recommend them.

Chris has been the most thoughtful person in helping us to get our hair done together ( my mum is terminally ill and has just lost her husband). He’s been kindness itself and does a wonderful job on our hair.
Staff are always friendly and helpful- thank you.

Will has been one of the nicest people I have met since moving to Brighton and he is an exceptional hairdresser. He managed to style and shape my messy locks after lockdown which wasn’t easy. He listens and his advice is sound.

And Chris Bowles cutting my hair - Sam doing the colour. Am delighted with my hair. Sam and Chris are so lovely and professional - always made to feel so comfortable. Truly talented stylists! Salon spotless and so well run. Good vibes. NHS discount on top - very pleased indeed - will 100% recommend.

I have known Shelbe since she was a trainee and seen her grown and grown into the top colourist she is today. Recently she recommended a balayage, and it is fabulous and much commented on. Shelbe really cares and applies so much attention to detail. I love coming to see her too!

I have been coming to Will for a good number of years and I just lost my mum, Will couldn't have be more caring and sensitive. I have a new fab hair cut too!

Really disappointed with the haircut. I came as I previously had an haircut in another Toni&Guy and I loved it. I came to redo exactly the same haircut, my hair having grown, and I even showed the pic of the T&G haircut I wanted. The cut is uneven, I have a side longer than another, ! Some hair are shorter next to longer ones. This isn t the haircut I wanted, totally short on the top when it was supposed to keep the lengths. More like a pineapple on the top of my head... really difficult to maintain.

I've been going to Shelbe and Andrew for colour and cut for a while now. They are both brilliant and lovely. Shelbe has done wonders at getting lovely blonde highlights into my light brown hair greying hair! She knows just what needs doing to freshen it up too. Andrew cuts my hair so well, he's made it look and feel much thicker at the front for me, layering it just right so it hangs really well. I'm always super happy with it. Thank you!

Sven is as ever a colouring genius as well as being a great guy. Wouldn’t know how to
Cope without him. Chris was lovely too and first time I’d met him. Good blow drier.

As always, Sven is amazing at creating the perfect full-head bleach. The colour is perfect and always meticulously applied.

It’s always a pleasure to get my haircut by Andrew. He really listens and you feel that he really cares that you get the cut you want. Great head massage with the wash too! :) Andrew helps make a good atmosphere in difficult and challenging circumstances.

on arriving i immediately felt that the salon had a good safe method of dealing with covid restrictions and still ensuring i had a nice experience at the hairdressers. Chris was very attentive and took his time to explain everything and i had a great cut (as always) and great time. thanks
