Alex is an amazing hairdresser. When I moved to Eastbourne I was very nervous about finding a new hairdresser. He made me feel very welcome and he knew exactly what I wanted.

I’m not usually one for writing reviews but am so delighted with my new haircut I just had to!! The lovely newly qualified Kiara Luci was the hero of the hour fixing a complete botch job I’d had at another salon a few months ago. Not only did she fix the mess but also gave me probably the best haircut I’ve ever had! My hair is very fine and usually looks like it’s in shock for a good week after a cut but Kiara really took her time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and it looks gorgeous! Thank you so much!

Booked a hugely last minute cut with Clive this morning, and was grateful that I could get an appointment at such short notice. Was warmly welcomed, and service was prompt. Clive is clearly a skilled hairdresser, and I am thrilled with the outcome. Significantly better that a T&G haircut, and at a much lower price point. Will be returning.

I don't trust anyone else bar the team here with my curly hair. Excellent service, Alex cuts it incredibly well every time and great value. I moved away from the area in 2013, but Still travel down to this salon!

Have my Haircut every 5weeks by Harriet she is such a perfectionist ...having short hair has to be precise she does that and is by far one of the best Hairdressers I have the privilege of being her client ....

I love this salon and it is the only place I'd even consider having my hair coloured. Alex who is wonderful saved me when I'd had a colour disaster before prom 10 years ago and I havent looked back since. Reception staff are absolutely lovely and always have a smile on their faces. I love it

Toby at Ministry of Hair has been cutting my hair for the last 20+ years and I wouldn't change salons if you paid me. I always come away feeling that I've got the right cut for me. Toby always spends time at the beginning of my appointment asking how my hair's been and finding out what I want from the next cut. He is able to make suggestions and tells me if my hair will actually do what I'd like it to do. He is very knowledgable and I always end up very happy. The other stylists are really good too and care about their clients and making them feel special. Great staff, great service and a great salon - what more can I say.

What can I say, excellent customer service from start to finish. Staff were friendly and professional, would definitely recommend and looking forward to my next visit.

I was staying in the area for a few days and managed to book an appointment for a haircut before leaving. The welcome and care I received from entering the salon to the end of the appointment was faultless. The receptionist was very friendly yet professional , my stylist Sam very attentive, really listened to my concerns regarding my hairstyle. The young lady who washed my hair did a great job and I had a lovely head massage which was a real treat. I have been so pleased with my haircut and can honestly say that I have not had a better hair salon experience anywhere and I have been to some good ones previously and been satisfied but this salon was a cut above the rest. I'll be sure to return the next time I'm in the area. Thank you.

I have just arrived back after a few days away and very concerned about what happened on Wednesday when you arrived for your appointment with Lisa, resulting in you screaming at two of my team members.
After talking to 5 team members tonight they informed me of the situation.

I would just like to clarify that after Lisa informed us she was leaving, she contacted all her clients. Any that she was unable to contact we made sure we did.
Please understand it is not in our interest to loose business and we take a pride in looking after our loyal clients.
Our receptionist who unfortunately has left due to back pain and an ill mother, tried contacting you on many occasions with no answer.

It is normal for health and safety reasons in professional salons, to regularly skin test, especially when changing stylist as this gives a great opportunity for a fresh consultation.
If we had of got hold of you this would have been explained. Clive was available for your service and was very keen to do it for you.
As you had not had a fresh skin test he was very prepared to offer a cut and blow dry service, whilst giving you a fresh colour consultation and skin test, ready for you earliest availability to return for your colour.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience that was caused and hope this email clarifies we don’t like losing valued business, we also are not in the habit of lying and we have a fabulous atmosphere in our salon.

I would of hoped we could of spoken before your review, so we could of hoped to of made the situation right for you.

I arrived for my appointment today after text reminder to be told Lisa p had left and I was required to have a skin test. I told them I had already had one so they said Clive would fit me in. They said they had tried to ring me about Lisa going but when I checked my phone there were no missed calls from them. Clive then told me I would need another skin test as the products they use are different from the skin test they had given me before. I had waited 20 mins by then and got very angry at the lack of concern for a regular customer and lies about trying to ring me. Of course this meant they had no intention of dealing with my hair colour and cut today as you have to wait a couple of days for the skin test result. Also I overheard that the receptionist had left so the atmosphere was not good.

Salon did not even bother to reply or defend my complaint, so perhaps they already know this stylist is either lazy or not up to the job!!
***** cut my hair first time quite well, though not enough was taken off. Second visit I asked for same style and reminded her I needed bit of length at back as my hair doesn’t grow straight down at hairline( kinks up then curls down). This has never been a problem elsewhere, but she said it would have to be cut very short at back , so reluctantly I let her do it!
The style I wanted was a classic graduated inverted bob which a skilled hairdresser should have no problem with. However, I went back a week later as the sides were flapping like spaniels ears!! She said all she could do was to put some layers in as what I was asking for was a mix of two different styles and couldn’t possibly do that.!! !! This took all of 2 mins.
Well silly me for going back but I did, and you’ve guessed it, another awful Spaniels Ears Bob, that has been rushed and cut with no layering, no graduated sides and no shape. I must conclude that this hairdresser is lazy, and wants you out of the chair in less than 30 mins.

Thank you so much to Harriet who spent hours taming my very knotty hair and was so helpful to any questions I had. Also gave me the best long lasting curls for a wedding. Thank you so much!

Being new to the area, I was instantly impressed with the warm, friendly greeting I received from all of the staff. My aim was to go from a yellow blonde to white ash and Alex could not of done a better job. I felt so comfortable in the salon which was a refreshing experience. Alex’s professionalism and skill meant that the end result completely exceeded my expectation! Thank you so much! ????

I’ve been going to the salon for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Andrea cuts and colours my hair and it always looks great. I often get compliments on how good my hair looks. My daughter now goes as well.

The salon was quite busy, the music was great, all from the ‘Noughties’ but there wasn’t a receptionist. This meant the telephone was ringing and couldn’t be answered because the stylists were too busy, this was a little off putting.
Happy with my hair (as always) but a shame no one to welcome and manage the clients.

Very professional salon, always love the way Debbie cuts and colours my hair. Shame about the awful cube sears!
