I’m not sure which Ellie but both Ellie’s are really great hairdressers today it was blonde Ellie as she really is super lovely - great head massage and friendly.

Lovely to see Ellie now as a senior stylist and so happy with my hair. She’s friendly and efficient and I’m happy to have my hair done by her now and anytime

Hi just had cut & finish with Maddie, always hard for both customer & stylist when it’s a first time , although not new to Salon. Thankyou Maddie love my hair , exactly what I wanted. The real challenge will be when I wash it but will leave that as long as possible! Look forward to seeing you next time. Such a talented hairdresser and obviously loves what she does. Eliza was polite and ensured my daughter was happy with the plan and the cut. She did exactly what was asked.

Booked my son (22 months) for a well needed hair cut but unfortunately he refused to let anyone near, they very kindly rebooked us in for a few days time. Everyone was so kind and patient and helped me to distract him and successfully cut his hair. Definitely recommend for children’s hair cuts and I will be back with my daughters too.

Lovely cut again today.

I came in feeling down about my hair and Emma cut it in a perfect style for me and I left the Salon feeling very happy and uplifted. Everyone was friendly in the Salon too.

Marie always cuts my hair and I have stayed with the salon for many years, in spite of moving 25 miles away! I know I can 100% trust all the stylists to do their very best for me. Marie manages her salon with great professionalism. She prides herself on high standards and my goodness , she always delivers! The staff are trained very well and there is an important emphasis on politeness, which is often absent in other salons. The salon is beautifully clean and the decor is gorgeous, with additional seasonal changes which add to the fun ! Great salon . Great stylists! Thank you so much!

My daughter and I have been going to Retreat for sometime now . Ellie B usually looks after us , always very Pleased how she does our hairs . If you ask Ellie for advice or suggestions she is always spot on and Very Professional ! All the staff are kind and you know they are happy to be there for their clients . It’s also a very calm hair salon and you feel lovely and relaxed .

Marie and Richard have been cutting my hair for many years. Not only are they a cut above the rest (pun intended!) in terms of haircut, the level of customer service is unrivalled. Always greeted with a smile and a coffee, with a great atmosphere. Excellent staff, lovely salon and always a great cut. Can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Had half head hi/lo lites n cut with Hollie. Great experience. Hollie is always sensitive to my needs, I have very hair, she listens to me and makes my hair look fab. All staff very welcoming, polite and professional.

Richard gave good advice on hair styles & how to style my hair. I was very pleased with my new hair cut.

As always Richard and I discussed what I wanted and I left happy with the result after a pleasant chat, drink and biscuits. 👍
