After searching for good hair salon I came toToni& guy and this was the best salon I choosed. As from the beginning, the atmosphere was very welcoming and staffs very friendly, I can’t even thank enough to lovely hair dresser Saffron , aww she is very lovely and so friendly, through all my hair colouring time she was making sure everything was done perfectly and I personally highly recommend her and will do my hair with her in coming days. Thank you so much Saffron and other team. Will see u soon❤️

I booked an appointment (I was a regular client) 2 hours before it, they had availability so I booked last min. I then had an emergency with one of my animals being bitten and needed to go to a vet. The salon charged me full fee and wouldn’t move me to a different day. Disgusting

I was so pleased with my cut today. Dean was meticulous in taking weight out of the top part of my wavy hair and layering it really nicely and putting curl into it. I have quite unruly hair which doesn't fit a 'style' very well, but I've never been happier with it from cut to cut. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the pre-cut part of shampoo, conditioning, scalp massage and coffee are all nice and relaxing . I really enjoy my visits and highly recommend the Colchester salon.

Always been happy when having my hair cut here, especially recently by Rob and Sadie. They listen to what you want and deliver lovely haircuts, they are professional and friendly too. A bit more expensive than other salons in town but you get what you pay for.

The ambiance of the salon was amazing, very relaxing, salon was spotless.

Had my hair cut today by Agne and she was so helpful from the get go! Gave me lots of advice to help look after my hair and listened to exactly what style I wanted! Will definitely be booking another appointment with Agne!

I booked in for a full head of highlights & a cut & blow dry. My brown hair with blonde highlights turned out to be ginger! I’ve always had layers in my hair but was advised all one length would look better - it doesn’t, it’s now blunt & heavy. I was pressured into paying £22 for an olaplex treatment as soon as I came in the salon so I ended up paying £212 for a hair do that I hate. The website states £65 for a 60 min cut & blow dry - mine took half that time.
I’ve send 6 emails to 2 different email addresses to complain with photos & had no response at all! I should be at least partially refunded so I can go & get my hair rectified as I’m extremely upset with it. Terrible customer service.

India coloured my hair and Rob cut my hair.
Had a fantastic colour and cut.
The staff were well organised, the ambiance of the salon was great.
Thank you and I shall be returning to the salon very soon for another cut and colour.

My experience wasn’t great !! Left me waiting, station not clean, offered a tea but never received, sent upstairs and the place was a tip and felt like my hair cut was rushed due to running out of time as the next customer was waiting.
You pay extra for service, and the experience !! Both missing !!

I had my hair coloured by India today and then cut by Jade. They are absolutely brilliant, really friendly and very knowledgeable. I felt in very good hands with India and Jade and will definitely book in again with them.

Everyone was so courteous and friendly. Aimee made me extremely comfortable and understood precisely what I wanted my hair to look like. I am very happy with the final look. Can’t wait to book an appointment again!

I booked online on the 23rd of November for a ladies cut with Rob. I have never had my hair done at your salon before and he had come highly recommended. When I phoned to confirm yesterday I was told I didn’t have a booking as I booked on the old system.
I explained I had a confirmation and couldn’t have my time but was offered a later time (his lunch break) or a different stylist. I also work in a service beauty industry and scheduled my clients around this prebooked time frame. I can’t just reschedule clients to get a last minute haircut.
I had no choice but to take an appointment with ***** I came in with an open mind and in need of some guidance. While he did take some time to explain what he would be doing and probably has executed the cut he envisioned.. I’m left pretty deflated. It does look better than what I came in with, but it’s really not what I wanted. I wanted it shorter with more volume and appreciate the layers..but after getting home, I realise it looks more like an A-line Bob... which I hate. So I’m pretty disappointed. I don’t do lots with my hair so I wasn’t expecting too much or feel I’m being overly picky. I just have what I feel is a very dated haircut...and that’s disappointing to me.
I would also like to add that while he was very polite and professional.. I didn’t get the feeling he was in a good mood or even happy to cut my hair, which is also disappointing. I realise that these last six months has been beyond depressing for the beauty industry and my return to work load is draining just like yours..but I did expect more. Again, no offence towards the stylist, maybe it’s just an off day for him. I really wanted to book a Color appointment soon but reluctant after this experience and this feedback. I do have an appointment with Rob for my son and hopefully that will be a better experience.

I’ve been going here for a few years and it’s consistently good also the staff are great.

As always the experience at the salon in Colchester was professional and first class. Aimee as always was her happy self and made me feel amazing after my cut and finish. The two girls who were so busy washing hair. doing the towels, and lots of other tasks deserve a mention. Although it was a very busy day for all the hairdressers and helpers I was greeted with a smile and given a coffee whilst I waited (I was early) 10 out of 10.

Had a great time at Toni & Guy where I got a balayage and cut. Jade was amazing at recommending what to do with my hair and it turned out perfect.

Having my first colour at 43 this was a very positive experience. I felt well advised, pampered and completely satisfied with the result. A very professional and friendly service. It was expensive but worth it
