HOB Hair Salon Epping, Essex

I am very happy with my cut and colour. My hair has never looked so glossy and smooth, and it’s so easy to manage now.

Hannah was brilliant from start to finish, thoroughly explaining to me the new treatment that I was having. Nothing was to much trouble even after I turned up on the wrong day!!

Such a superb hairdresser. He knows what I want better than I do. Always walk away so happy. The Epping branch is great too. Such lovely, friendly staff with a lovely vibe and atmosphere.

I go to Hobs Epping for my colour and cuts. I am always happy with the end result. I go to Daniel he has a eye for colour and form. Lovely friendly salon with great hospitality. Highly recommend.

Had a great trim and style yesterday, attentive team and a great experience had.
I came from a poorly cut set of locks to a well styled trim.

I decided to book with this stylist due to the reviews. Overall my stylist went over and above to try and get the results I wanted, it was made known that my hair would be a big job though I didn't feel so. Instead of free hand, I got foils which had to be done I was told to cover all the colours in my hair. The colour after was a bit more Ashy then I would like but the results were better then what previous stylists had achieved. My only complaint and advice is that the foils need to be placed and removed alot more gently as well as when drying the hair.
Other then that the salon was busy with a positive atmosphere and the girls all seemed to work very well together!
I have received Compliments on my new look and I would return.

Hannah is an incredible hairdresser, I trust her with my hair 100% and for good reason. She listens, offers her knowledge and advice, is very skilled and genuinely cares about the result.

Yesterday Hannah cut my hair, I am so happy with it, Hannah talked me through what she thought would be good for my hair, so nice to have someone discuss what they are doing. Rebooked for 8 weeks time. Daniel coloured my hair and also love the result.

I absolutely love Maria. She totally understands me. I never know what I want but Maria guides me and the results are amazing. I'm not used to salons and I find it all a bit overwhelming, but the staff are lovely, and Maria is kind, we have a laugh and she makes the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable.

I brought my Granny to the Epping salon this week and she couldn’t stop talking about how happy she was with the entire experience. It’s the first time she has had her hair cut in a salon in years and she felt like a new, full of life woman afterwards. All the staff looked after her beautifully and Hannah now has a new client who will be back again soon! Thank you for taking good care of her x

Where do I even start?! From the first moment that I stepped through the door at Hob, I was greeted by Daniel and instantly fell in love! I’ve been to many hairdressers in the past, but never have I EVER had such a lovely, funny, talented and professional hairdresser. Not only is Daniel talented at what he does, he is also a gorgeous human being that has me belly laughing the whole time I’m in the salon. I am so bloody pleased that I now have a hairdresser for life! Thank you so much to everyone at Hob - you all are amazing. Such lovely and friendly people xxxx

I had a cut and colour with Daniel really happy with results ?

After searching for the that comfortable feeling, I found it at Epping. Daniel is welcoming and invested in each client to Make sure they leave with the “good feeling”, I had a twirled with the idea of finally putting colour to my hair after 33 years, not knowing what I needed Daniel made sure to talk me through the stages and gave me the perfect look and I couldn’t be happier.

While you can’t stop and smile when he starts to sing, his professional abilities is on point and yes I alway leave with that good feeling.

It’s always a pleasure to go to Hobbs in Epping.
The salon is buzzing and professional .
My colour is exactly what I wanted by Beth and I had the best blo dry by another lady.
Can’t wait to go back .

I’m so pleased with the result of my hair Beth was very helpful when it came to getting the exact finish I want in terms of length and colour running through. The overall experience in the salon was lovely and everyone was so nice still including Beth who was nothing but a pleasure. I popped in for a quick chat on how I could get out of my style rut and felt spat ease with Sophia I just went for a complete restyle. Her cut was amazing and the precision incredible. Better than expensive london salons. I feel like a nee woman, thank you Sophia!

Love how Sophie cuts and styles my hair! We are always treated so well when visiting Hobs and we now wouldn’t go anywhere else! My girls (5 and 7) have their cut at the same time by Ruby and Kiah and they come out feeling like princesses! They even love having their hair washed ?. Thank you to you all. We will be back!

A very friendly professional salon. Sophia cut my hair just as I wanted and styled it really well. I got lots of compliments. This was my first visit and I will be going back.

Been going to Sophie for a good couple of years now, always gives me a great cut, is polite and clearly passionate about her final product. Always happy with the experience and the outcome.

Sophie was outstanding as always and I will continue to seek her always when booking an appointment. Her attention to detail is exemplary.

My query is to the wider of why when staff no longer need to wear PPE why towels are still not be used and the customer remains paying for this. The risk is greater with a lack of staff PPE than a towel. This does not appear rational!

A hairdresser who knows exactly what I want, more than I do. Super friendly and lovely. I travel from Loughton just for him.

I always let Daniel advise me on small tweaks and changes in colour and length and he always gets it right. I trust his judgement and feel relaxed when he’s cutting my hair.

Ruby is an amazing stylist. She knows what my hair needs better than I know myself. I chat, read, relax while she fixes me and I always know the results will draw admiring comments from friends and family. After Covid this salon is like wellness therapy - clean, calm, well-organised, welcoming and professional in every way. I have been a client in many hair salons over the years and Hob, Epping is the best of the best. Thank you Ruby and thanks to everyone who is involved in making Hob Epping such a lovely place to visit.

This was my first time at the salon. I called in the morning and got an appointment the same afternoon. I wanted a shorter bob for my thick hair and Daniel really took his time to think about what would be suit me. The whole team were very warm and friendly. Especially the girl who washed my hair. I will definitely be back.
