Nadine is always a pleasure to be around and she knows my hair inside out . Always does me a fabulous colour , Had a wonderful head massage by one of the younger team and a great blow dry and styling from Zoe . Always a pleasure coming to Strangeways .

I am so happy with the trim I had today.
A shorter style and a slight curl creates a completely new look and feel to my hair.

I think everyone has done my hair in here over the years. I’ve watched young nervous apprentices become fully qualified, award winning 🥇 confident hairdresser extraordinaire. Zoe is my girl at the moment. Giving me the best cool cuts. I always feel very welcome every time I walk in. Fabulous friendly funky hairdressers.

Holly is an actual magician. She is so lovely, and so talented. I followed her from another salon and I can’t imagine anyone else doing my hair. I always look forward to our chats and she has made me fall in love with my hair again!

Having just moved to Leigh-on-Sea I chose Strangeways after reading their reviews. I booked in with Zoe who was excellent ❤️ and did everything I asked, a real professional. All the other staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be going back……..Well done Strangeways team! x

Jess always does an amazing job of transforming my hair. Shes great at giving ideas & advice for low maintenance colouring styles (which I need as I don't often get time to myself to visit on a frequent basis!) and she will ask all the right questions to decide on what is best for me and my hair type. Generally I vary my colour and Rachel picks the right tones every time.

I came into the salon today a very dejected and insecure woman following an ongoing hair disaster from ill advised hairstyling at my former salon. I was lucky to have found Nadine (after an absence by me, of 10yrs) she was as amazing as ever, taking the time to explain every step of my appointment and what it will achieve, always checking in with me that I was happy. I can’t tell you how amazing she made me feel and when I looked at “me “ in the mirror, staring back was the girl I used to be (a few more wrinkles) I can’t recommend her enough

jess done my hair today and couldn’t be more pleased with results .i’ve had brown-black box dye in my hair for some time and she managed to get it to a nice caramel colour in one session!

Zoe is a standout human who works hard to make sure you leave her chair with the style and colour you want. I'm always happy with my cut and colour, she works hard to tailor her skills to your hair type. A gem and a big reccomend.

Second time here with the brilliant Holly who totally gets what I wanted with my hair, and gives brilliant advice on what would work best.
Excellent colour, totally fallen back in love with my hair after thinking it would never look good again after some not so good experiences before coming here.
And brilliant cut too. Holly is a total expert and also makes you feel super comfortable. Both she and the salon has a really friendly down to earth vibes, and can always guarantee a good laugh too.
