I had my hair washed , Washrd. , Dried and styled by April today. She is an excellent hair technician. Thank you April I love my hair style.

I wanted to get my hair cut for Christmas but as usual left it very late to book an appointment. Sam had a cancellation and cut my hair for me beautifully as always.

I came in just for a simple trim this time, Rachel cut my hair, very friendly and did a lovely job, hair looks a lot healthier. Thank you.

The staff are really welcoming and friendly, Rachel was lovely too, however I don’t feel like i got what I asked for, so I’m really disappointed, specially as I traveled in from London too, I won’t be coming back here.

Regular customer, nothing but praise for this salon. All the staff are so friendly and professional. I’ve had colour, cut and extensions in the past and I cannot fault Strangeways. This time, Rachel coloured my hair wonderfully, and Danielle did a great job of thickening and volumising my fine hair with a cut. Thanks guys!

Quickest haircut I’ve ever had. Didn’t feel the value this time. Worst cut I’ve had which is not the norm. I’m not a frequent visitor, probably 2/3 times a year, but still expect quality with the prices. Have been using you for over 10 years

I always get a friendly and professional service from the minute I walk through the door from all staff. I consistently get the best hair cut I’ve ever had with Martyn and great colour with Hannah. They never take your custom for granted no matter how long you have been going there. 5 stars every tine, I cannot praise them enough.

Just popped in for a quick trim of my fringe and, as usual, wonderful service. Charlie was meticulous in making sure my fringe was straight and everyone in the salon made me feel welcome.

I love my cut and colour. Both Rachel and Martyn were amazing and made feel at ease and listened to my ideas and delivered my vision.

I’ve just visited the salon for the first time and it was great. I had my hair cut by Rachel and she was brilliant: she paid close attention to what I wanted - medium length ‘messy’ hair with short fringe (instead of getting the straighteners out like many do!) - and the cut is spot on. Cheers all!

I booked for just a normal repeat , same colour hairline root touch up .
My normal stylist was stuck in traffic so another young stylist offered to do the hairline , while the colour was being applied I enquired why the colour being applied looked so different ( I was worried it was the wrong colour ) however I was informed it was that the product had been enhanced and it would be the same . After I was dried my hair parting looked like someone had drawn thick black marker down the middle of my head , at that point my normal stylist arrived and did it know why it had gone so dark and obvious , she said they would have to re apply the colour further down my length to mix in the colour difference so I had to go through the process again . After it was washed off again it was still too dark so a toner was applied , my stylist dried my hair and we could still see a difference in colour match but I couldn’t spend anymore time in the chair so she said if it looks to obvious after washing I should return . I was in the salon for 3 hours and had to pay for the service ,
I understand the product used may have changed and the stylist didn’t know to the extent the colour would differ however I now have darker longer roots That are visible and am worried that my under roots will show through . Having had the hairline done twice now , I think the salon should of done my whole roots to mix in the colour change or at the very least not charged me .

Absolutely love this salon been coming for many years and now have Hannah who knows me well enough now to know which colour I will like, she cuts & dries my hair exactly how I want it I wouldn’t go anywhere else now and if Hannah is not in and am more than happy to see another stylist as they are all equally amazing at interpreting a clients expectations.Highly Recommend

My visit to Strangways was as always fantastic - everyone is great and Martin always makes me feel a million dollars thanks to all.

I regularly drive over 50 miles to attend this salon. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I never come away feeling that I need to re-wash or re-style my hair as the cut is consistently excellent. Thanks Martin, you are the best.

No matter when I book I always get my fave stylist Sam. My hair is always perfect and he gives me great tips to maintain it . Than you Sam and all the friendly & professional staff in the salon

I have been having my hair tamed at the salon by the lovely Hannah for a few years now. My husband bought me vouchers as a treat and I have returned to them every 8 weeks since. Nice people, friendly environment and always happy with the results. Highly recommend the salon!
