I have Charlie the beautician to do my waxing eyebrows etc always friendly and does my 3 facial waxing so well shame whilst she’s on maternity there won’t be anybody to do this so will have to go elsewhere which is a shame as having my hair done on same days makes it easier and convenient
My hairdresser Diane whom I’ve been going to avant garde in Cleeve for a year now have found her very polite easy to talk to re advice or listening to what I think I’d might like to try and I am always pleased with the colours cut and blow dry and having other compliments from my customers and family and my hair is easily managed myself the all pamper and treat is great
As always friendly, professional and excellent service at the Bishops Cleeve salon. Fantastic cut from Charlie and smooth blow dry. Visits to the salon are always enjoyable and relaxed.

After putting it off for over a year, I finally decided to try somewhere new after a string of bad haircuts. Saw Diane and was so pleased, could not recommend enough. My daughter had her hair cut today at Avant Guarde in Bishops Cleeve, she loves it there as she had her hair put up once for a dance competition. Our experience there was great and her hair cut looks amazing, we are very happy with that but I found it a little frustrating/dissapointing that I wasn’t able to book my daughters appointment in advance (was told that I would have to just call on the day and hope there is a space, luckily there was but I’m very busy and like to book things in advance so I know they will happen when I need them to.) When I asked why appointments couldn’t be booked for children in advance I was told they had been let down in the past so it was their policy but that doesn’t feel very fair to those who do keep appointments and did make me think about going elsewhere.
Abbey was great. Listened and advised for hair style. Very pleased with the result.

As always Diane does a brilliant job on my hair asks how it’s been this time tho the sun had really bleached my hair and I felt it rather brash so we went through the colours we could go for to bring it down and I took Diane’s recommendations suggesting keeping the warmer colours still but slightly darker was very pleased with the colour and as always the cut and blow dry I’m a regular customer and Diane hasn’t disappointed me and like the fact we can talk and Diane listens
