Ella Hair & Beauty Salon

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the salon. I was received well in a very friendly manner & soon had my first cappuccino-very good. Sophie introduced herself to me & we discussed what I’d had done before & what I wanted to have done today. She was great at listening & advising me. She had a lovely manner & conversation throughout the appointment was easy & interesting. I was very pleased with the end result & will look forward to seeing her again when I come for my next appointment which I’ve already booked.

Jade is amazing and sets her costumers totally at ease. After having 2 babies in 2 years, Jade has been able to control my postpartum hair and make me feel like pretty and ‘put together’ again. Thank you Jade, you are wonderful and such a very talented young lady x

Letia did my highlights last week. It had been a long time, maybe 5 months since my last colour so my roots were horrendous. She’s done an amazing job at blending everything in, it looks really bright and fresh and natural too. She’s also a really lovely friendly person to chat to.

Billie also gave me a beautiful head massage during my shampoo.

I really liked my new restyled hair cut suit’s my face better than a straight one length bob also enjoyed the nice large mug of decaf tea and biscuit .

Had my hair done on Thursday, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Poppy was so nice and did an amazing job, I absolutely love my hair and feel super confident.

My colour didn't take properly at my last appointment, and Letia booked me in ASAP and was so attentive and determined to fix whatever chemical quirk had caused it. My first time in this salon. So much better than many of the others who charge far higher prices, especially if you don't want to feel like you are on display in their window. The place is far larger than it looks with a lovely section at the end for hair washing which is like a zen spa! Really friendly staff, I'll be back.

Another wonderful cut and colour today by Mollie. Always so helpful to me and honest with my requests. I really appreciate it. Also Lucia gave a lovely hair wash and head massage. Both friendly as ever.

Lucia was very helpful and knowledgeable of hair colour.
I had booked a root colour only but having recently been in the sun. The ends had faded, so Lucia suggested putting colour through the length to darken it down. Not easy when I also have highlites, she was very careful to weave the highlites out so No colour went into them. She was extremely patient as it took some time and paid huge attention to detail
A toner applied, cut and blow dry and really happy with the result I love it.

My anxiety walking in to the salon was through the roof. As soon as Poppy took me through to quiet spot and we started to chat, I was immediately out at my ease, I could tell she was lovely, interested, very transparent and honest, and professional. She put me at my ease and I feel almost excited about coming back into the salon!!!!

I was lucky enough to get a pre Christmas haircut with Jade and am delighted with the result! I was made to feel very welcome and Jade was really good at making suggestions. Altogether a lovely relaxing visit.

She cut brilliantly, discussed products. She was happy to give advice. Blow dried brilliantly too! Very happy!

I was let down by my mobile hair dresser and I had taken a day off work to get my hair done . I phoned and was able to be fitted in for a tint re - growth .

As always, Lucia was very friendly and polite. She did a great head massage, and a nice cut and blow dry. I LOVE the result of drying it straight! Great coffee too! Thank you x

My first visit and pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome, both the receptionist and stylist were were professional.
I needed styling advice to cope with my new hair growth after chemotherapy, they were very understanding and took time to demonstrate a style I could manage on my own 🙏

Lucia was absolutely wonderful and so friendly. My hair looks lovely and has a natural look to it too which I love. The only issue is that my hair has definitely been over processed. My hair is very frizzy and knotty even after washing, using a hair mask and putting oil in.

I’m new to the salon and Mel , but already feel comfortable , I like the e mail reminders, I like the digital receipt.
Mel listens to how I feel about my hair and gives great advice , we make a plan for the future and. A great cut too!

Managed to squeeze me in last minute to have a blow dry before wedding. Hair looked amazing, Poppy was so lovely and I got loads of compliments about my hair at the wedding! Thank you Poppy x

I’m pretty useless at knowing what to do with my hair as very fine! Mollie was fabulous at recognising a good colour range for my hair and I’m very pleased with it.

It's only my second appointment with Jade and she has styled my hair well on both occasions. Jade listened to my styling request, cut my hair based on the same and I'm pleased with the result.

I've not been to a hairdressers for a while, and have had a few bad experiences, Sophie really listened to what I wanted and gave me advice about the options. All the staff seemed professional. Overall a good experience.
