I was treated to very thing I could have wished for and had a wonderful head massage. So happy and will be back very soon. A gorgeous salon and a wonderful team of people. Ed has been a constant and positive presence since I found him at his first salon more than a decade ago. He spends the time to get to know his client's lives and lifestyles, and underst what will work with my quirks and needs.
I always feel looked after, and leave the salon content in myself, and delighted with my fabulous hair.

I came in for a creative dye job- I have natural dyed brown hair and I wanted two white flashes at the front under the top layers. I had two consultations with different people and then they recommended someone. I showed a pic, I wish I had shown a few more. My hair stylist was really nice, but misunderstood the assignment and instead of flashes made several small sections of white which wasn’t super visible… I said respectfully that it wasn’t what I wanted so he repeated the process and added more pieces. The second time round the bleach didn’t lift as much so now I have random steaks of white and more yellow blonde popping out - looks like a balayage gone wrong, when what I actually wanted what big chunks of the white. Super dissapointed because I haven’t dyed my hair in ages and was really looking forward to this change. I know hairdressers aren’t magicians- but for £214, I would expect a better result. :/

Came in to get my roots done? Paid an extortionate £76 and the colonist didn’t even bother checking the colour was ok especially given I changed from my normal
Shade. It was just onto the next customer. The colour isn’t ok - my roots aren’t completely covered.

Really blown away with my first Edward James appointment. Emily is such a talented stylist and really listened to what I wanted, as well as providing great suggestions. Her attention to detail is fantastic and I'm so happy with my colour and cut. She also made me feel very welcome and had great conversation. I really appreciated the small touches too like the prosecco, which really made it feel like a luxurious pamper session. Beautiful salon too! 😊

I have been going to Edward James since I came to London 2 years ago based on a recommendation I got from a friend. She had been seeing Natalie for around 10 years and had followed her from her previous salon. I can see why!!

Every visit is such a joy and I always feel a million times better when I leave. My hair has also NEVER been better - I even get stopped in the street with people asking where I get it done.

On top of the great chats and great hair, I love the whole experience. Everyone has always been so kind to me and it really feels that everyone genuinely cares for the clients - even if they’re not their own.
