Fizz & Polly have been looking after my hair for a few years now & I've never had a bad experience, in fact they always amaze me with how good my cut & colour can look! They are also very tolerant of some of my daft ideas... like randomly deciding I need Unicorn hair LoL. So it's brilliant to see them back up & running this year ❤

I have been using Hob Southgate for about 3 years now, following a recommendation from a friend. Service is always professional, friendly, and, most importantly, makes your hair look amazing. Massage chairs and an excellent coffee machine - although they will also happily offer you wine or soft drinks - help you to relax and feel extremely pampered. Head massages are very good, and the staff really make you feel at home with none of the he-said/she-said bitchiness that can sometimes be overheard in other salons. Polly's attention to detail ensures that my colour is always perfect - no matter how fussy my request may be. Styling by Tommy and Fran has always been beautiful. Anthony (the owner/manager) styled my hair for the first time this week and I loved the result - my boyfriend even noticed and complimented me without any prompting! Staff definitely care about the health of your hair, and will provide thoughtful and tailored advice without any "hard sell" of their products or services. While there may be some cheaper options out there, I genuinely feel like every penny is so well spent here, and the overall experience and end result make this exceptionally worthwhile.

This hair cut was a disaster. Because of the mask I wasn't able to see the front and fringe, one side of the fringe is in my eye. Going back to see what can be done.

Ozzie, excellent stylist, will be very disappointed if she left.

Ozzie is brilliant, enough said! Only thing I would add is more about the safety in current climate, I’d feel more secure if a temperature check was taken on entry to the salon.

Having been shielding members of my family since March I was apprehensive about appointment but such care was taken by everyone. There was plenty of hair to play with and I felt amazing with my new style. Anthony took such care and time to get it right and had several colleagues watching his skills! I have had lots of positive comments since. Thank you so much!

Always have a good haircut, I can see Anthony enjoys cutting my hair, he listens to what I want and I know short hair can be a challenge, especially on a fussy person like me! But I’m happy with the cut he gives

The salon is adapting to the ever changing rules re the pandemic well. Everything is being done to keep clients and staff safe.

As usual Ozzie never disappoints, she’s sure worth travelling the distance for! She has natural skills and honest advice which is always very much appreciated.
Just some positive feedback for management, with regards to the salons Covid charge they should just include in the price and not call it a Covid charge because with what was provided for me (apron) didn’t seem justifiable but am happy to just pay an increase in price as a whole.

The staff were still so professional, polite and caring throughout despite the obvious changes.
