This was my first visit to Edward James Battersea. Sara went through everything with me first, she made sure she understood what I was after and offered very good advice and recommendations. I was offered a head massage before my shampoo, which was bliss 😊
Sara cut and blow dried my hair leaving it silky soft and looking stylish, perfect! I didn't know my hair could look that nice.
I highly recommend this salon and Sara, I will definitely be going back.

Penny is very talented and knowledgeable. She was able to dye my hair the perfect copper shade I’d been wanting. I’ve unsuccessfully tried a few other hair salons and they haven’t been able to quite hit the mark.

I’ve been visiting the salon for over 5 years and it’s akin to a relaxing spa experience. The Aveda products are beautiful.. the tea and massage oils.. are excellent and Mide who is the manager and head stylist is extremely talented and never fails to send me off with the best highlights! I have been coming to the salon since it opened and always found the staff lovely and always get lovely cut and highlights.
However yesterday as well as the time before when I had a haircut, I get to the till and the price has gone up by £6-7 which I find quite outrageous. There is no warning of this either or signage to say prices have gone up.
I paid £110 last time and yesterday suddenly the same service with Mide was £116 without any explanation.
I don’t like to quibble but I feel this is somewhat misleading and unfair to the customer as I got a. Coming confirmation that clearly stated my haircut was to be £110 yesterday.
So I was disappointed and felt slightly cheated by this. And as a very loyal client for over 10 years I felt I should be treated with more care and transparency.
Also I’d like and explanation about this as I left feeling somewhat apprehensive about returning to the salon given your pieces seem to escalate every time I have an appointment.
