I’ve been going to Cutting Bay for years as a loyal customer. I was debating whether or not to write this review as I’ve never had a bad experience but this time, I felt I had to say something. I get my hair cut by Jansu.. yansu not sure how to spell her name and apologies if I got it wrong. She cuts my hair well and does a good job but this time when I went (I don’t know if she was having a bad day or in a bad mood) she was making very bitchy comments to me about my hair and the condition it was in. One comment was about how thin my hair felt even though I’ve been trying to improve the thickness of my hair as I had a lot fall out last year due to stress and other problems I don’t wish to mention. I felt very self conscious about myself after and down about it. I work with customers in my job and I would never dream of speaking to customers like that! On top of this, she didn’t blow dry the back of my hair once the hair cut was finished so my hair was left frizzy. I don’t go and get my hair cut often but now I’m debating whether I want to go back because of how I was made to feel.

I’ve always come here to get my two little boys a haircut. Maria and her team have a lot of experience and patience with kids which is much appreciated. They always make us feel comfortable and the kids get rewarded with a lolly which they love!
I always have a delightful experience in the warm and professional environment of cutting bay. Being very sensitive about my hair, Jansu is a real gem, along with the rest of the staff !
Angie did my hair today and I just want to say - amazing service and amazing results!!! I’m so in love with my new hair. I wanted a change for quite a while and today I made a very spontaneous decision with going dark brown and cutting my hair. Definitely going to continue going there from now on!

I hadn’t been to a hairdressers for around 6 years and so was a little nervous as I was having a lot cut off. Angie did the best job and listened to exactly what I was after and gave me great advice on how the cut would sit with my particular hair. I left feeling so much more confident and happy in myself. All of the team were so warm and welcoming. Thank you :)
Beyond expectations. Was seen promptly. All the staff wore masks. Pleasant welcome. The young lady washed my hair gently. And Angie gave me a superb cut. BTW, a good cup of tea as well. Will definitely go back there again. The price was also very reasonable.

6 years ago I moved out of the area, yet I always go back to Cutting Bay in Bounds Green. The staff are all lovely, well qualified, and they take pride in their work. I won't go anywhere else

So happy with my new cut. Angie is a great stylist, very attentive to detail and to customer suggestions. Walked in here dripping wet (cloudburst!) and was immediately taken very good care of. Will be back!

They dont do what they promised. They are not respectful to different cultures. They dont give you any opinion to have beatiful cut. I really felt I should leave the place immediately. I dont recommend to anyone

My son has autism and a learning disability and so hair cuts have been a nightmare.. but through Maria's patience and understanding and getting an early or late appointment when it's quieter, he was very calm today and let Maria actually style his hair ..not just cut it! We always get a great friendly service and have been coming here for years..thanks so much.
I took my daughter (age 5) for a haircut today and the ladies at the Cutting Bay were lovely and welcoming and did a great haircut, my daughter was very happy!
