I've been coming to this salon for years and recommend it to everyone I know! The staff are all lovely and brilliant at what they do. Maki has been my stylist for years. She really takes her time to understand what you want and her cuts are perfection (and she gives the best blow dry!). Nellie has been colouring my hair for a few years and her work is fantastic. The balayage she gave me a year ago is still going strong with just a couple of root touch ups. Will be sad to see the Camden salon go, but will definitely be making the trip to West Hampstead with them!

Elijah is a wizard.
The ancient Greek philosopher Plato believed that behind the physical reality in which we live exists a world of ideal forms — the pure essence of all things. So, for example, behind every physical apple exists the ideal form of an apple, a pure, perfect distillation of what it is to be an apple.
Elijah is trying to give you the platonic essence of a haircut. He will, of course, do whatever you ask for and he’ll do it well. But the real magic comes from trusting him, and letting him pursue the ideal vision shimmering within his inner eye. On this journey he will do things you do not expect from hairdressing. He will complete a full woman’s cut with only a straight razor. He will adjust single strands of hair, one after another, with swift precision. With scissors alone, he managed to somehow coax my hair into an entirely different texture, and I am loving my new wavy curls. And at our last appointment, I told him I had an important occasion a month from then, but couldn’t return beforehand, and he cut it so that it looked great right after, but has steadily blossomed into something even better as time has gone on.

I went to HOB Camden yesterday after having £600 extensions wefted in, i was recommended a stylist who has experience in fake hair for Olaplex and blow dry. I told him to please be gentle with my hair, and showed him an image of the mermaid like waves i wanted to achieve. He told me this wasn’t possible and they didn’t have the tools. He basically did what he wanted and walked out putting my hat on straight away. The worst part was he was so rough with my hair i was holding my scalp and kept asking him to stop ripping the extensions and being so aggressive as they were expensive and new. He continued and didn’t listen. My brand new wefts are loose and falling out, and i went home and flattened my hair as was given a complete opposite style I had asked for. I regret coming, my hair and new extensions are completely ruined. I’ve been left feeling self concious for a special occasion this weekend.

Stewart has an eye for shape and style that is truly remarkable and priceless. He understands hair in a way that you can tell is inspiring because every other hairdresser is watching and admiring. Amazing I am in such a bad way with my hair and nothing was helping. I got scared of going to the hairdresser thought fear of lossing the rest of my hair. Going thought unknown reason I was taught how to care for what I had and how I was doing was hurting it more. I am so thankful to the team for all the help and attention.
