I have no clue how Femmi managed with so many people and with the multi tasking. But she did and she did an excellent job too!
Things were tight in the salon with many people there and some were not wearing masks all the time. If the number of new COVID cases per day were higher I would feel uncomfortable. But as it were now I was just grateful to be able to get an appointment!

I usually prep myself for 4 hours + when I go to get my foils done but these guys gave me a great colour consultation, did a full head of foils, treatment, toner and blow dry in just under 3 hours. And the foils are great- so many of them and really finely done.

I'm absolutely happy with my cut and colour. Looks great!!! But I was a quite surprised about the price in the end as they didn't say anything about tone and that it would cost extra. My bill was quite high. Also the water was too cold.

Great haircut and service. However, I was embarrassed that I could not offer a tip.
I read that Hob is now fully cashless but was told that I couldn’t add a tip when I paid. It doesn’t really make sense to use cash for tips these days…

My appointment for full head highlights was at 2.30pm on the 1st day after lockdown (12 April). After waiting at the door approx 5 mins, I was apologized to and was eventually directed to a seat. There I sat until the therapist came over at 3.30. She did apologize but I feel didn’t really acknowledge the length of the wait. She did a good job as always and had the foils in by 4.32. I was told I would need to wait half an hour and that was fine. Just after 5 I was directed to the basin and there I sat until 5.55pm getting my hair washed in freezing cold water for the best part of an hour (washing out highlights, then opalex and then toner). I realised about 5.40 that I wouldn’t have time to get my hair dried as my parking was ‘only’ 4 hours and told the therapist and she agreed that I should leave without a blow dry. My hair wasn’t even towel dried properly and was dripping wet as I left the salon and I was now shivering and feeling quite upset. I decided I needed to complain about this experience (something I really don’t like doing) and feel I wasn’t taken at all seriously my the manager. This just upset me even more. I had a very uncomfortable 15 minute walk to my car and 40 minute drive home. I arrived home freezing cold, upset and feeling extremely disappointed in my experience. I was charged 194.50 for this terrible experience. I definitely will not be back. I understand that this was the first day back and ye were settling in but I really feel there was a lack of understanding that customers do have busy lives too and can’t be spending an hour waiting in a chair looking at the clock. I think I should have at least be told in advance that there was an hour wait and that I would have to get my hair washed in cold water so I could make an informed decision on whether to leave

My cut with Sol was really great, thanks very much to him.
However I was waiting around for over half an hour before I got a hair wash (which had nothing to do with Sol) - I think especially in light of the virus, which means people might not want to be in a salon for longer than necessary, Hob should think more carefully about what times to book clients in for to prevent long delays.

I had a very nice treatment from Linda and she got rid of my blue hair !
But today after washing my hair it's back to blue/green and i also got scared when I had to pay. As when I booked on the website it said 66£ i knew that with the blow dry it will be more but not to that extent, i had to pay 220.5£ without understanding why really...

As always my experience at hob salon and with Jordon was brilliant! I have dark hair with years of box dye on it but was keen to go lighter, Jordon has been so great and getting me amazing results but being so realistic on the time it will take so my hair remains in good condition. I started going to the Camden branch on the advice of my previous hair dresser before he moved to California to work for the film industry. My regular hair dresser is Sonia who consistently exceeds my expectations, and I highly recommend her for a male haircut.

Emma has now been doing my highlights for 3 years. My hair makes such a difference to my mood as I feel it changes your appearance more than anything else. I feel Emma now knows exactly what I do, and most importantly don't, like. Over summer when I came to her saying I was thinking about having balayage she very openly said I will do it but I don't think you will like it, however I understand what you are trying to get at and I have a solution. It was exactly what I wanted and have received so many compliments over the past few months. It is a real partnership of her knowledge and expertise, and her relationship with me.
