TONI&GUY Canary Wharf

Finding myself in Canary Wharf feeling under the weather and and far from polished, I tried T&G on the off chance they could give me a cut and perk me up. I was seen quickly and the stylist got the measure of my hair and knew just what was needed.
The wash was a very average experience, but the cut and blow dry was very good. sadly I was given old magazines to read, but the stylist helpfully found me something newer to read. I would go again.

This is the 2nd time I have been to T&G Canary Wharf and had my Colour done by Danielle. I'm really pleased again with my hair and Danielle listens to what I need and offers advice as to what will work and is honest. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Marcel cut my hair this eve, it desperately needed cut & he did a wonderful job.

Brilliant haircut, beautiful blowdry. I try to book with the same person each time, she is a great hairdresser. Cheyenne is also friendly and understands exactly what you want your hair to look like. The music is really loud.

Excellent service. Super attentive to what I was looking for the hair colour expert listen to my need and address it properly. I had a lovely massage on my head when the lady was applying a treatment. Everyone super caring. A pampering experience with good beauty end result!

I have been to see Katie at T&G Canary Whsrf 3 times now and have to say I am really happy with the hair cut each time. Lovely and smiley, she makes each visit a pleasure!

Tania was great and she transformed my dull locks into a spectacular hairstyle. This was my first visit at Toni&Guy Canary Wharf but I was very pleased indeed with the level of service and Tania's talent and skill. I will be coming back soon!

From the moment you step through the doors at the Canary Wharf salon you're welcomed like an old friend. Haven't my avoided having a cut and colour for as long as possible i was fortunate enough to have landed Allison and Marcel to work wonders and that's exactly what they did! Could not be happier with colours and cut! Brilliant!

The Experiance was very professional and a delight treated me very well indeed and I had a wonderful hair colour result which suited me and l loved (although wasn't the same person who gave me my consultation ).i liked Danielle as at last some one with personality . I also didn't feel presurised just advised . Noted my clothes were very well protected as well .
Salon is very nice clean friendly feels luxurious and gd products used .
The trainees also gave me a nice wash which is important and if I had just one comment once my hair was finished the trainee should of got a mirror and shown me the back but was a gd team effort . A very nice Experiance For me as alway a bit nervous but didn't feel that at all I'm giving all 5 review.

Staff took time to understand what I wanted. Really happy with end result. It is quite pricey though close to £200 pounds for 1/2 head highlights + cut and blow dry for short hair Though.

My second visit to this salon and the experience was once again fantastic. Friendly welcome, great staff, everyone (welcome desk, shampoo, hair stylist) was lovely on this very busy Saturday. Tomoko did again a great job. I highly recommend.

I asked for a pretty specific haircut and wasn't given at all what I asked for. I even pointed to another client getting the exact cut I wanted, and had the stylist re-do it after it was dried, but it still did end up at all as I was asking for. It's the same haircut style I've gotten for many years, for a lower price, in central London. Definitely not worth the price here and will never go back.

As always Marcel was amazing and I left with gorgeous hair and a smile on my face. Also appreciated them allowing me to pay over the phone as I'm a regular/had lost my bank card

Kirsten Artistic director - punctual, I liked her courtesy and formal hand shake greeting - fast appraisal of hair type and options explained succinctly (studied picture on my phone) Washed hair herself as salon VERY busy. Not too much not too little gentle conversation . Explained care of my very thick hair and potential change in my home dye regime. I purchased the products recommended - once a year I go to a hairdresser (have had anxiety attacks at hairdressers previously) and Kirsten would encourage me to go more often.

The salon has become an extension of home, I have to visit every 3 weeks for retouching my roots. I love catching up with my colourist who I've known now for a few years not to mention the head massage at the end of it. Very handy to have threading offered too so I often combine the two. From the moment I walk in I feel relaxed and welcomed. I highly recommend the team at Canary Wharf!

Even after i moved, i still have to go over to toni and guys where tanya so perfectly does my hair.

Yes I enjoyed it but feel continuity from the person who colours hair would be preferable. Particularly when everytime one books the person changes and one has to re-explain what is required, often the new person has their own take on one's hair colour so it has no cohesive follow through and misunderstandings occur. Never have this problem with the person who cuts my hair. At Tony and Guy one pays a premium therefore one should expect a proper service. That said Serena Fraser was excellent at not only sorting what I wanted but also being incredibly diplomatic at my frustration. I am very happy with what she did and would like to keep her. I consider hair colour important because it can take time to sort out

I travel to this branch of Toni & Guy because Marcel always cuts my hair exactly how I like it!

Front of the house could be more welcoming and paying more attention to arriving customers rather than being glued to their computer screens.

Hairdresser's assistants are on the other hand very friendly and provide a great head massage during hair wash.

Hairdresser was very serious and was from time to time focused on his personnel. Quality of haircut for £70 is no better than in the local salon for £20. I feel it should be priced on complexity and amount of products used rather than a flat fee.

Not sure it's really worth the value to be frank.

When you arrive for your hair appointed you feel very welcomed the team are always smiling can't be more helpful.

Great experience. Everything from the greeting to the shampoo to the cut and style. Really pleased with the cut. The stylist really listened to what I wanted and was really helpful and lovely. The service from all the staff I interacted with in the salon was spot on. Lovely experience. Booked my next visit.

Booked an appointment with the 'style director' who allegedly worked on hair during the Absolutely Fabulous film. The cost was £81 and would take around an hour. 40 minutes later having complained , requested changes and provided constant reminders of my original requirements which were either misunderstood or simply not achievable. I left significantly disappointed and frustrated as due to attend a significant event that evening at the O2. I had no opportunity to then spend time with friends as it was necessary to ''redo' my hair.

I really felt confident Toni and Guy would be first class, a lovely treat and based on her being the 'top style director' I would not be disappointed . The pins used in my hair were thin and did not hold my hair and it had dropped on arrival to my hotel opposite the shopping centre. I was devastated and embarrassed to explain to my husband the cost of the hair appointment and the end result.

My colourist was Kerry, she was fantastic and listened to what I wanted and I was so happy with the result.

My stylist Nina knew what style and cut suited me and I was so happy with the finish.

Jennny is probably the best hairdresser I've ever met! I had a really failed home haircut, which ruined my hair and was bizarrely uneven! Jenny not only fixed it, but did the best haircut of my life: super modern, versatile and beautiful! I feel sooo more beautiful now (it's much better than it was before the disastrous home haircut). It's not a cheap place, but having a haircut with Jenny worth every penny!
The only con are the recepcionists: they are not welcoming, nor friendly and were a bit rude by the phone (reason why I took two stars off the item "atmosphere")

Went in for a cut and colour, hair was in a mess - walked out feeling amazing
