About us

Toni&Guy Covent Garden is home of 2 award winning members of the international artistic team. Including British Hairdressing Awards Avant-Garde winner Indira Schauwecker, along with, L’Oreal’s young colourist of the year, Georgie Mathers. TONI&GUY Covent Garden has also won Winner of Perfect Salon award twice!
All of our art directors head up educational courses at the prestigious TONI&GUY Academy, London. We boast a hub of creativity with a number of our stylists in the TONI&GUY Session Team working on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week and photoshoots for national magazines epitomising the company’s ‘catwalk-to-client’ philosophy. Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Degree and Wella Master Colour Expert award- their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques. TONI&GUY Covent Garden has also won Winner of Perfect Salon award twice! We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair, the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry, extensions and Olaplex. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase and GHD, to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit. Having had a run of cuts at another salon (where I left frustrated and disappointed but kept going back for me!) I decided to book Sam after seeing his profile said ‘short hair/men’s specialist (apparently he cuts all hair types though). Sam’s manner was considered, gentle and, above all, he listened to my wishes and then gave his thoughts/advice. I think the real litmus test for his client skills was that I felt calm throughout (normally I suffer terribly from social anxiety in salons). The result - the cut that I’ve had in mind for months. Highly recommended.

Andrea , is always cheerful and listens and advises on my colour wishes. She never appears stressed even though she is obviously very busy . I really enjoy seeing her . My colour wash off today was unfortunately not that gentle! And felt rushed, the junior used a lot of stain remover to remove the tint from my hairline, which has left my skin red and sore . I believe colour removes colour ! He spent very little time apply this theory , thus having to use so much stain remover. Maybe this maybe worth mentioning to him. I look forward to seeing all the staff again soon .

When I called , The recepionist book the appointment for me at 11:00 despite the fact that I was in A harry for a meeting at 14:00 hours When I visited the physical shop, at 9:30 I realise that the shop was empty and ghere were no customers at all, so she booked me in for earlier(10:30) I was very disapponted to realise that she could have done that before.

Very sorry you feel that way. Our salon does not open until 10am, that is why the salon was empty at 9:30am when you arrived. Our first available appointment for colour with a technician was the one we offered to you.
I do apologise but we did give you our first appointment for colour, unfortunately those are just our opening hours.

Regards your professional blowdry, our aim was to have you out on time as you requested to be out by 13:30pm, so your blowdry was done to the best of our ability in the little time we had. We are very sorry you feel this way.

Andra is always friendly, efficient and professional. She always gets my colour right.
Today visa was down. The manager asked clients to pay cash even though the queues for the cash machines were ridiculously long. As a client of Tony and Guy for at least 25 years I think it would have been better PR to ask me to ring in the morning and pay over the phone or by direct bank transfer.

Thank you for your review, we do understand your frustration and see the inconvenience this has caused.

Unfortunately Visa failed on this occasion and has apologised to both its partners and customers.

Please see below communication that was sent out from Visa to ensure everyone was kept up to date and informed of what was happening.

Visa on 01/05/18 experienced a service disruption which was preventing some Visa transactions in Europe from being processed. The cause was investigated and visa were working as quickly as possible to resolve the situation.

Visa’s goal is to ensure all Visa cards work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Due to a systems failure, Visa fell well short of this today. Visa apologise to partners & especially to Visa cardholders.

Visa resolved a technical issue as quick as possible that impacted some consumers across Europe. Visa account holders can now use Visa for any of their purchases and at ATMs. Visa apologise to partners & especially to Visa cardholders who were affected.

Visa aware some cardholders may have pending transactions that could be limiting their spending ability. Visa are working with your banks to resolve this. You should not be charged for transactions that did not complete.

I always normally have my hair done at Tony and Guy. Have done for years. One mad day strayed to a private own salon near home. Runined my hair. Literally. So went back to Tony and Guy asking to cut the lot off as hated it. Luckly i was advised could do a nice cut with out being so drastic. Can honestly say saved me. Can look in the mirror really good job and advice as always. Xx

I came in whilst visiting the city today and had my hair curled with tongues and then pinned and taken out. It wasn't even curly it was just Frizz. Hated it all and 25 quid was an absolute rip off.
