Toni&Guy Covent Garden is home of 2 award winning members of the international artistic team. Including British Hairdressing Awards Avant-Garde winner Indira Schauwecker, along with, L’Oreal’s young colourist of the year, Georgie Mathers. TONI&GUY Covent Garden has also won Winner of Perfect Salon award twice!
All of our art directors head up educational courses at the prestigious TONI&GUY Academy, London. We boast a hub of creativity with a number of our stylists in the TONI&GUY Session Team working on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week and photoshoots for national magazines epitomising the company’s ‘catwalk-to-client’ philosophy. Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Degree and Wella Master Colour Expert award- their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques. TONI&GUY Covent Garden has also won Winner of Perfect Salon award twice! We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair, the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry, extensions and Olaplex. Ayse is super confident particularly with thin/thinning curly hair, which is a nightmare to get just right (Speaking as a faithful tony and guy costumer of 10+ years, not every stylist is very experienced with my type of hair. I have had varying degrees of success in the past.) My hair now appears fuller, frames my face just right has lots of volume, too. I recommend 100%.

I am not satisfied with the level of hair cut and service by *****. She kept combing my hair very hard hitting with comb. A very careless and unprofessional disinterested way of cut and blow dry. Once washed after the salon experience my hair doesn’t even look remotely freshly cut. I demand a compensation. Thank you.
On the other hand I’m happy with jack and the way my hair turned out to be. His colour technique service result all are four stars.

I was welcomed in nicely and taken to my seat where I told the stylist what I would like with my haircut. After a brief discussion I was taken to have my hair washed by another member of staff. The wash was not pleasant in the slightest ( the massage chair helped the discomfort of the wash). The washer was far too rough with washing my hair. I don’t expect it to the best experience ever but I certainly don’t expect for it to be sore and have a lot of pressure on my head during this time. Once my hair was washed the haircut proceeded. The stylist wasn’t very engaged with what she was doing during the whole 30 minutes it took for her to do my hair. Constantly looking around the room , distracted rather than focusing on cutting my hair. She also was very very rough with the buzzer when shaving my hair. Not really taking any care or attention to how much pressure she was applying. The whole experience wasn’t great. It felt as though she was just wanting to get it done with as quickly as possible and move onto something else. For the £48!!!! I paid for this haircut it was awful value for money. The finished product was okay but I will certainly not be returning to have my haircut.

My hair is notoriously difficult to cut due to hair texture and head shape. As soon as Matthew started advising on possible cuts I could tell he understood his craft and was highly experienced. I’ve had numerous hairdressers and this cut’s the best I’ve had in a while. A professional and a highly competent hairdresser if I’ve ever seen one.

i actually had the worst salon experience of my life. i walked in asking for highlights but got persuaded into balayage instead because that was the stylists speciality. well that was a massive mistake. walked out with BRIGHT YELLOW hair. i should’ve seen the signs. when i was getting my hair dried there were bits of hair snapping while the assistant brushed it. almost had a heart attack. halfway through blow drying it she went to get the stylist to “check it”. later found out this was because there where patches all over the back and she was asking him whether she should tell me. let me make this clear: i have had good balayage before, so i know what it is supposed to look like. it definitely isn’t supposed to have blunt lines of bleach and bits where the bleach has fallen on the roots. on my way home i had to pick up a ginormous bottle of purple conditioner because it was a) SO damaged and b) SO yellow. wish i could attach a photo. oh yeah he also left the whole back of my head brown. as you can imagine i was not very happy but i just didn’t have the guts to say anything. this was about a month ago.

Following my numerous experiments with colour in the top salons in town, I have stumbled upon Andra at Tony&guy in Covent Garden. She was the one who I owe my best looks. The looks that will forever be in my memories such as my wedding and birth of my daughter. Honest and friendly service. I wanted to brighten up/enhance my colour for a Photoshoot and Lee was honest that I didn’t really need much doing. My last appointment was 7/8 weeks ago. He was right and did what was needed to enhance the colour, yet not damage my hair too much. It looks great.

Danny was also taught by Matthew on how to blow dry curly hair. I was really pleased with this as most salons get it wrong.

The salon could not be more professional.

Have been returning here a number of times for a trim, which is very much an understatement in terms. It is better described as an experience, which includes massage chairs and hot towels. Sam is an excellent stylist who specialises in both ladies and men's short hair. I do not have much hair on my head in the first place, which must be a challenge for Sam, but he glides over the follicles with his shavers and works his magic. This is definitely in a different league to my local high street barber, so I will be returning for more when the time comes. It's a yes from me.
