About us

Toni&Guy Covent Garden is home of 2 award winning members of the international artistic team. Including British Hairdressing Awards Avant-Garde winner Indira Schauwecker, along with, L’Oreal’s young colourist of the year, Georgie Mathers. TONI&GUY Covent Garden has also won Winner of Perfect Salon award twice!
All of our art directors head up educational courses at the prestigious TONI&GUY Academy, London. We boast a hub of creativity with a number of our stylists in the TONI&GUY Session Team working on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week and photoshoots for national magazines epitomising the company’s ‘catwalk-to-client’ philosophy. Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Degree and Wella Master Colour Expert award- their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques. TONI&GUY Covent Garden has also won Winner of Perfect Salon award twice! We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair, the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry, extensions and Olaplex. Poor standards for a high end salon

First time here , friend and I were visiting London& wanted to pamper ourselves .
The receptionist was lovely , very friendly & managed to fit us both in at the same time .
I had booked a blow dry .
I was taken to my seat which was covered in hair and messy . The hairdresser was running behind . He didn’t ask me where I part my hair or if I’d like any products.
The junior started to blast dry my hair . The stylist just rough dried my hair and curled it with a tong . No brushes or hair products used . I felt it was rushed and not much care or attention was paid . A very expensive blow dry for something I could’ve done myself at home . Really really unhappy with my experience. I don’t get time to treat myself very often and I really looking forward to having a treat and feel fabulous. The curls fell straight out because the stylist didn’t use any products before the blow dry . The atmosphere was quite awkward. The stylists weren’t friendly ( receptionist was lovely ) if it wasn’t for me talking I feel there would’ve been no conversation which felt very uncomfortable. A few members of staff were grumpy and didn’t smile etc . Never felt so uncomfortable having my hair done before . Real shame

Terrible appointment for the price

Arrived on the dot at 4, had to wait almost 15min to even meet *****, this was my first time visiting another hairdresser as my previous Toni and guy hair stylist quit after 4 years with him. I proceeded to have a rushed shampoo and then proceeded with the haircut. However ***** had to run around several times in order to find the appropriate accessories such as the comb and shaver, and had a passive aggressive altercation with another stylist, it wasn’t pleasant as a customer. ***** had to jump several times between me and another customer during the cut and considering I found out I had to pay £10 more than the usual price since ***** is a Director, it was a pretty shoddy haircut (my side trims are now asymmetrical) and experience

Really happy with cut and the way Matthew blowdryed my hair

Always struggled with hairdressers drying my hair the way I like it (usually get frizzy curls after leaving the salon!) but this wasn’t the case

Consultation with art director was good and he suggested a cut that suits my hair textture. Also showed me bets way to blow dry my hair. I felt rushed through the appointment. I was handed over to a junior stylist for drying and straighting after initial cut and he touched the straighting rods to the back of my neck (I am sure it was a mistake). Also the dryer was too hot at one point on my scalp and I told him the same so he reduced the temperature. This is not the service you expect when you pay for a cut and blow dry with an art director. I was asked to book a longer consultation next time but to be fair I don’t think the 45min duration of the appointment was totally dedicated to me. Had much better experience at other TONI and Guy branches.

As usual, Sam was brilliant: technically masterful, completely concentrated on producing perfect results, and the consummate professional.

The salon, however, is increasingly like a particularly noisy and stressful airport departure lounge. The new in-salon tv commercials are the worst innovation. These are loud, repetitive and almost certainly counter-productive. Who wants to listen to intrusive and repetitious adverts when having their hair cut?

If T&G need the extra revenue, put your prices up. Customers would gladly pay for an advert-free experience.

I am on vacation, needed a haircut. I came upon this salon by happenstance. I was seen within 10 min with graciousness and hot tea. Both ladies, who washed my hair and styled my hair were very personal and professional. I highly recommend this lovely salon to everyone.

Sarah did an amazing job with my hair. After another salon gave me horrible, yellow highlights that looked like stripes, she fixed them and managed to blen in my roots perfectly. She was very nice and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted. My hair felt really soft and healthy after as well. I couldn’t recommend Sarah more!

I had my hair coloured abroad as i was impatient!! Really dark so tried to lift the colour myself.....turned orange......Nancy restored my hair to lovely brown so pleased no more DIY colour .....made me feel great
