I was impressed by the welcome, availability of slots, online booking etc. The stylist, Laura, was lovely and efficient, seemed intelligent and took feedback. I had thought the cut was ok at the time, but as it settled in the next couple of days, I realised the stylist had not cut my hair to bring out the curls. For the first cut in ages I find myself with flat, dull hair, with no curls to speak of. Even though I had asked for a cut that helped the curls come out. Instead I've got a flat helmet. I'm very disappointed and will be looking elsewhere for a hairdresser.

Really lovely service, from the moment I walked in. Great atmosphere. Fantastic hair wash. I’m happy with cut. The issue was the blow drying, I have very thick hair and the blow dry wasn’t strong enough. When it was being done I was worried it wasn’t thorough enough. I did ask for the top to be a bit smoother and she went over it again. When I left I could feel that the under hair was definitely not completely dry. So the under bits, especially at the back went fuzzy very quickly and the front (I do have quite strong kinks / curls) went ‘rippled / kinked’ very quickly. Not sure if you use them but tongs or straighteners would have helped. I’m always anxious about commenting so even asking for it to try to be a bit smoother was hard for me. Yes, I left a tip, I always try to be generous (also the payment was taken by person who did my hair) but I was disappointed by the standard of blow dry. Everything else was great and I know my hair is hard to blow dry as it’s pretty thick.

Naturally nervous of hairdressers and am so happy with the results . Relaxed, friendly and professional atmosphere in the salon - Andrew was quick to understand and make perfect suggestions, and quick to deliver an expert cut.

Enrica is an absolute diamond. I love love love my haircut. She immediately got my style and made some great suggestions for face framing layers. Plus she took 4-5 inches off like it was nothing and my hair looks 10x better! Hjghly recommend, especially for a restyle.
It's been a while since I've found a hairdresser I feel really understands my hair (I have very fine hair) and who I feel I can trust. She did an excellent haircut that I'm very pleased with and gave great advice throughout the appointment regarding how to make the most of my particular hair type in terms of cutting it, and how to style it. I highly recommend her.

i was very dissapointed that the massage chairs were not working which i found out after asking. my head massage lasted just 20seconds. i did not get my drink for 20minites, again i had to ask. my haircut is always short so i appreciate a bit of pampering when i am spending £85.
could also do with a bit of painting which i noticed while waiting for my haircut/drink as i hadn’t been offered a magazine as i usually do.
sorry to be so negative but was dissapointed compared with previous. visits and feel like the see are quick/easy fixes to make the experience more high end.

I wanted to let you know immediately that the physical shortfalls are in hand – with the salon being repainted over the Christmas break, as always, and our chairs finally being replaced in the early part of the new year. We've had some bad luck repairing them and agree it has taken much to long to solve.
Your other criticisms will be discussed and addressed in training with urgency.

Maisie did exactly what I wanted. That’s so rare!
First time at mayla and first time with Maisie cutting my hair. I have frizzy, thick curly hair and Maisie handled it amazingly! Gave me loads of styling tips and was very polite.
Listened to what I would like done and offered advice.
Good short cut, never had razor cut before . Also very pleasant to talk to. Pleased with results.
Brilliant experience with Lulu today - she listened to my ideas/preferences/lifestyle and made really helpful suggestions too. My cut and colour are gorgeous, the colour in particular. I had a blonde balayage that had grown out and got a bit brassy over the summer, but Lulu managed to get it a gorgeous warm creamy shade of blonde that I absolutely love and has brightened the appearance of my complexion too. Would highly recommend - thanks Lulu!

Was my first time getting my hair cut and styled in a really long time, I went in with a specific sort of hairstyle in mind, and Andrew immediately picked up on what I wanted from a brief look at a couple of pictures. He was really nice the entire time, and you could really tell and feel that he knew what he was doing. He did a really great job! The only awkward part was when I accidentally left the salon without paying, having forgotten to pay at the front desk, but I was saved by Andrew who came out to remind me (thank you so much and I am really sorry!). Will definitely be coming back!
Lulu was lovely and gave me some really useful advice on a haircut! I made quite a big change to my hair and she made me feel confident in my choices and how to style it in the future.

Enrica gave me a fantastic haircut. She walked me through every stage of the cut and gave me the option to feel my hair so I could get a sense of the weight and length.

Desperately searching for a replacement for my recently retired hair stylist of 25 years, I may have found him! Andrew listened to me, even though I had no idea of what I wanted. He offered advice and explained his reasons. I left my hair to him and left he salon with a complete refresh. It feels and looks great. Best haircut I have had for a long time. He even made me feel better about my tentative plan to embrace the grey!

I have thick, dark curly hair that can be quite tricky to style and manage. Lulu did an amazing job on my hair, really took the time to understand what I wanted and made great suggestions. I've always felt like I'm in really safe hands at Myla and Davis and love the new look, thank you!
