I had my hair cut today by Bola having bought a TimeOut voucher. It was a lovely experience is a really chilled environment. I love my cut and will definitely be returning.

I've been going to this salon for some years now, confident in the quality of both cut and colour. I love that the salon has loads of natural light, so the stylists not only have a clear view of what they're doing, but the clients can also see exactly how it looks as the cut / colour progresses.
I have had a variety of stylists cutting and colouring my hair over the years, including Andrew himself, and have been very happy with a consistently high level of service.

I had my hair cut and bow dried by Zoe. It looks amazing! I'll definitely be returning. She fixed a lopsided previous cut and still kept it long. Very happy with the result! Lovely central salon as well.

I really enjoyed my hour spent at Andrew Jose with Evelina.

So I got caught up in Spring Fever today and after a difficult few days and a couple of meetings this morning decided to sniff out a hairdresser in Fitzrovia and get the short cut I'd promised myself. Not a normal risk if take - a new salon to me and without research or referrals. I was feeling reckless and prepared to go on intuition. I asked the lovely receptionist if she could recommend a senior stylist. Here he is, meet Glen. Glen and I had a consultation and I took the plunge. Wonderful cut and colour and a risk that paid off!! Would totally recommend his skills and will be returning :))

Went for a hair cut by Andrew Jose after nearly twenty years. His haircut was the best hair cut I ever had nearly twenty years ago, and I managed to experience the best haircut since twenty years ago, again, yesterday. I moved away from where I lived before, so couldn't go there for all this time. He takes into account all the factors involved in a great haircut such as face shape, how the hair parts which sometimes shows like thinning hair in the back of the head, and cuts in a way that gives body to the hair which is unbelievable. Just amazing!

I had my hair cut and blow waved by Zoe. I had very long and dry hair and wanted a change for summer. The minute I sat down with Zoe she completely understood what I wanted and gave great advice in terms of how short to go and how more long layers would shape my hair and give it bounce. She cut it perfectly and did exactly what she said she would do. She then spent a considerable amount of time giving my hair a blow wave and then showing me how to replicate the effect with straighteners. I love my hair. She was friendly, professional and completely on point with my hair. She really knew what she was doing and I would highly recommend her. Thank you Zoe!!

Thank you Bola at Andrew Jose... So much attention to style my hair before my evening out, I'm delighted. This has been my second visit to this Salon and both times were superb.

Very disappointed. Sat in chair and explained what style I wanted, then after a wash I demonstrated how I usually style my hair for reference. My stylist then appeared to be leaving the sides too long. I asked if they were going to go shorter and was calmed with a positive yes., I once again demonstrated how I would like my hair to look when finished and felt embarrassed to point this out for a second time. The sides stayed long and whilst product was being applied I had to ask a third time for the cut to be shorter. This was attempted for a third time but not how I explained and seemed to be rushed. Giving the benefit of the doubt I allowed my hair to be styled in a manner completely different to how I had demonstrated twice before. At this point I aquiesced and said "Don't worry I'll sort it out when I get home" on paying the patron commented at what a good hair cut I had received. when I got home my wife remarked at what a bad haircut I had received

In London for a couple of days with my hairdresser husband! He was on a course so was unable to do my hair, I opted for this salon as it was only down the road from our hotel. And it was truly an amazing experience in the capable hands of Bola, from start to excellent finish!! I'm so delighted!

Excellent cut and blow dry by the lovely Evelina at Andrew Jose. My hair looked and felt fabulous. It was my first time at Andrew Jose and I will definitely be returning. The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming and I will be recommending Andrew Jose to all my friends.

My highlighted blonde hair was in ruins the first time I went to her but I can safely say that it has never looked as good as it does now.

I just wish she could do my blow dry everyday !

As my missus works hard, it was time I treated her so having her hair done was something she had wanted for a while. We'd never been to Andrew Jose before but she was very glad she did. Nice looking shop,very friendly welcome and staff who know what they are doing and are very good at it too. We don't live in London but I'd happily go that extra mile to come to Andrew Jose again

Even though I was having my haircut as a model. I was able to choose which style I wanted. The hairdresser was really nice and friendly and did listen to what I wanted.

I had my colour done and also a hair cut and blow dry with Tanieka. I'm thrilled with the result. She asked a lot of questions to figure out what would be best and was really helpful explaining the options. Appreciated the handy tips she shared too. Will certainly return!

Despite working close to this salon I actually found it through wahanda when looking for a hairdressers in central London that could do Afro/European hair. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first arrived but i was made to feel very welcome straightaway. The staff were very professional clearly knew their stuff. I tend to be quite nervous when going to new salons after a number of bad cuts however I'm happy to say that my hair cut here was A+ and I will definitely be returning.

Been coming here well over 20 years and not been anywhere else since my first cut here. Staff are all lovely and great at cutting hair. Last 10 plus years I've just let whoever cut my hair do whatever they like and I've always got a great result. Andrew's been cutting my hair the last few years and he's fantastic however I've had my hair cut by about 10 different people over the years and everyone's been good. Salon is clean, bright, friendly and relaxed. Everyone is welcome and no pretension so not at all intimidating like a lot of top places in London. Highly recommended!

I received a warm welcome to the salon. Bola was my stylist and listened to what a needed (a cut with minimal maintenance) and suggested options. She is professional and charismatic and I'm really pleased with my cut and style. I have no hesitation recommending Bola or Andrew Jose.

Having visited Glen at his previous salon many years ago, I sought him out at Andrew Jose confident that I would get a great cut and hi-lights - which I did. Glen is fantastically talented, I knew I was in safe hands and I love my new style and colour.

I've always had a bit of an ogoing war with hairdressers who promise they'll do exactly as you ask and then do whatever they want, but Zoe at Andrew José was great. She spent a lot of time and attention meticulously cutting in a fringe for me and I was really pleased with it! I would advise that you go when you have lots of time, as my wash and cut took well over an hour, but that's also why it's good- there isn't a conveyor belt mentality that means that the hairdresser has to get your cut done in 45 mins and then you're out the door regardless of if you want more done or not. I had a voucher so it was great value for me- I would recommend!

Despite trying local salons I keep coming back to Andrew Jose because they do the best haircuts! I had Evelina cut my hair today and as soon as she saw my hair type (wavy, unruly, dry) she knew what sort of cut I needed. I'd highly recommend Andrew Jose and Evelina.

I came into the salon on 29/12/15 and was so incredibly impressed with the service. I recently got married and moved to the area so thought I would try this salon out for the first time. I cannot fault the experience. I had Nalan cutting my hair- finally someone who really knows what she is doing. I will definitely be a regular client of this salon- thanks so much!
