Claire always cuts my hair perfectly. I have curly hair, which I know after years of going to different salons not all hairdressers can cut well but she can! Not only is she super talented at cutting & colouring hair (I love my balayage too) she’s also a lovely person that wants you to have a great experience when you visit the salon.

Great service, second time I’ve been to Myla and Davis. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed and looked after. Offered a drink as soon as you come in which is always a nice touch. Absolutely love the massage chair and head massage service that you get when they wash your hair! Makes you feel so relaxed. Joe was great, knew exactly what to do with my curly hair which is always hard to find! They use nice products and he gave me great tips for looking after it too. All the staff were great. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

As someone who doesn’t enjoy having my haircut, Eduardo was brilliant. Very attuned to what I wanted, whilst also providing some fantastic advice; both on the right cut, but also the products I might need to repair damage. The herne hill salon is light and airy and I felt completely relaxed and in expert hands throughout. Delicious peppermint tea as well!

Love everything about M&D, from the vibe in the salon (including music), to the staff (who are very down to earth), to the approach to sustainability (which is top notch).
Alice has done an amazing job with my balayage and cut, yet again, and I love that when I ask her for advice, I can trust she’s giving me an honest answer and not just trying to sell me something! Helps that the products are fab.

Tried the herne hill salon for the first time and I’m really glad I did. The salon was lovely and the welcome was really warm. I also received great styling advice from Alice, resulting in a haircut that I am really really happy with, for the first time since I went short last year. She was also attentive to my styling needs - using a light hairspray to keep my bob styled for a wedding the next day. I can’t recommend Alice more highly!

I’ve been coming to Lauren for the last 2 years after COVID meant I couldn’t travel North to my normal salon. I have had terrible experiences with london stylists but Lauren is fantastic! She got me straight away, not just my hair (thick, wavy, mad but resilient as heck) but me too (I like to put my hair through it’s paces - big cut and even bigger colour changes).
Lauren takes it all in her stride. She’s super experienced, knowledgeable, honest and just really lovely. My hair has never looked and felt so good (her home care advice is brilliant).
Myla & Davis Herne Hill salon is also really beautiful. Smart, comfortable and really welcoming. Highly recommend.
