This salon is very much out of my way - 45 mins on a clear run. It had to be very good for me to travel 45 mins for a hair cut...... and it definitely is.

I booked a cut and blow dry around ten days ago after I got a voucher for 20% off.

I arrived to the appointment on New Year’s Eve at 4pm 10 mins early and waited in the seating area. My hairdresser (I think her name is *****) stumbled towards me in a gown and took me to my chair and asked what I wanted, I thought she was a client as she had the gown on, but whilst my hair was getting washed I could see she was getting her own hair done. I was then taken back to my seat. At 4.30 I asked the receptionist how long the hairdresser would be and she went to check. The hairdresser came back and said sorry I was getting my hair done for NYE. I said do you want me to come back another time? And she said no. After that I did not feel fully confident in her abilities so opted for a simpler cut.

I booked a last minute appointment and received a warm welcome and excellent service.

I came to get my hair color done and Natasha customer service aswell her understanding about hair is spot on. I felt she understood what I wanted and yet again she delivery.

I had a lovely time - there was no-one else in the salon for pretty much all of the time I was in there but the staff were very attentive and Natasha did my hair amazingly and was so lovely.

I visit the salon more than visiting family! !! This visit was outstanding. I have long hair that was hanging and they lightened up and opened my face with a nice shape at the front of my face

I have recently had a Cut @ Blow Dry at Toni&Guy. The whole experience was Wonderful, the Staff were Polite, Friendly and Professional. I was very impressed with my Stylist (Demi) a lovely young lady. All in all Simply The Best.

When I entered the Ilford store, the assistant took my coat and offered me a drink straight away, which was brilliant. She washed my hair and gave me an amazing head massage. After that TONI cut my hair. Let me tell you something, this girl knows how to cut hair. She slayed my hair from the beginning to the end. I’ve never been so happy. Definitely going back.

I was thoroughly disappointed at my second visit to this place. I had asked for my hair colour to be silver with some slate grey.
The colourist applied all dark grey leaving my hair looking black in colour.
On my first visit the colour of my hair was more like what i wanted (silver) but i was told to come back for my 2nd visit a week later to apply the colour i wanted which was a disaster!
I would certainly would not recommend this place as they have no idea how the achieve the proper hair colour required.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was offered a cup of tea and I didn't wait a long time to be seen to and introduced to Toni,as she is the afro hair specialist. Toni asked me what I wanted done and I told her I need a good treatment and trim. She took me over took me over to wash my hair and then a junior stylist continued to wash and condition it very gently. For the treatment the junior stylist put a plastic bag over my hair (with the conditioner on) and plugged in the rotating heat dryer for the 15-20min steam. This was new to me, as I'm used to to full immersion of the hooded dryer for about the same time. However, the treatment worked well as my hair was lovely and soft afterwards and could be combed easily. I enjoyed my experience and I'm happy with my trimmed hair, its soft and light!
