I love the way that Sophie cuts my hair and she has brilliant ideas about my style. Lauren does a great job helping me pick out my colours. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I normally go to this salon every couple of months, but I haven’t done so as I’ve been busy, so a year and so later I thought I’d treat myself to T&G. Ilford. Many of the old staff have left for one reason or another, the newcomers are ok... but I’m my truthful opinion... This salon has gone down hill, no care taken when cutting hair, I had to remind the guy to do a high line, his response was ‘oh I forgot’. Had my hair coloured too, coloured great, but washing was awed uk. No care taken l, I had water all down my ears, down my shirt, not washed properly had to go home and wash it myself, not what I expected. I certainly won’t go back!! Sorry T&G Ilford, sort your standards out, seriously slacked!

My first experience was really good. It was my time at Toni and guy, the staff were very attentive from the moment I stepped inside the salon. My stylist was Sophie and she is a fabulous stylist who knows exactly what she is doing.

Rifa was great and always is, always takes time with my haircut and i'm always happy with my hair. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Always a professional and yet relaxed atmosphere- always offered a beverage, which is paramount to overall experience. I have Toni and Guy closer to home in Brentwood but I prefer travelling 6 train stops to see Kitty who understands my hair better than anybody.

1st time when is visited it was very good service. But last time ladies cutting was ok but she didn’t clean my hair. And I went to work with hairs every where on me. I think £50 for that service is too much.

Had a lovely time having my hair done the girls were all very good to me and Rifa is a lovely person and very hard working.Looking forward to my next trip.

Loved my first visit to T&G. Staff were really friendly and fun, but most of all knowledgeable and talked me through everything. Great customer service, and I'm very particular about this in itself. Colour was fab and the treatment has made my hair feel fresh and lovely to the touch. Felt treated like The Queen that I Am.

I'm extremely fussy with who I let cut my hair as I find hairdressers do what cut they think is best as opposed to actually listening to customers. I was recommended this salon (in particular Kiran) so I gave it a try. So happy I did as this is now the only salon I will let cut my hair! I can actually sit and relax when getting my haircut and not have to keep a hawk eye on what is being done to my hair. Finished result is always great. Kiran is my go to but I've had cuts with Sophie and most recently Toni and they too have also been great. Highly recommended going here. There are loads of salons near me in London, and other Toni & Guy's, but I travel to this salon as it's simply the best one I've been to.

Nihal had long hair and was cut very short to donate his hair to the princess trust. He enjoyed his experience

Great service

As I wear a hijab, I always come to Toni and Guy Ilford as they have a private room. I do have to make sure I book it in advance and ask for a female stylist. I wash my hair from home as they are unable to do this privately. You wouldn’t be able to get your hair coloured here though if you wanted to do it privately.

I had my hair dyed by Lauren & I love the results. Sophie's cut was its usual high standard. Friendly staff , comfortable chairs & tea & biscuits on tap!

Extremely dissatisfied, I had ash blonde highlights in my hair which the hairdresser kept referring to as grey, this didn't bother me much as I felt she must do an amazing job as a hair colourist and perhaps this is why she is making such negative comments on my hair. I told her I wanted my hair to stand out and wanted a very light balayage in my hair but for some reason she was adamant that I should go for an Autumn warm colour, but I know what looks good on me and I decided to go for a lighter blonde colour. Started at 11:40am, she did my roots and then did the colour which she wrapped in foil. When she had completed this she coloured the rest of my hair to match my roots. My head was under the heater for 40mnts. I had been in the salon for over 2 hours. She washed my hair and added a toner. When she dried my hair it looked like thick orange highlights in my hair! It seemed as what i wanted was absolutely disregarded and she did what she wanted! I was so disappointment by a tony and guy hair colourist whom had spent over 3 hours on my hair and charged me £115.
I was pushed into this appointment when I got my haircut from Kitti. The hair colourist did say she will get the manager to call me as I was extremely dissapointed, one day later and I have still not received a call. I forgot to say they offered me a tea which I accepted however did not make for over an hour.
Overall this must be the worst experience I have experienced in a hair salon!

I always use this salon and apart from always having an amazing cut by the lovely Kitty... I find that you receive a top class experience the ambience is always nice and the staff are very welcoming... always leave feeling a million dollars definitely recommend to all :-)

Thought the service was great at the ilford branch. It was my first time and I would definitely come back for an hair cut. I was served by rifa, she was amazing and knew exactly what to do with my hair - Although I wish I cut my hair slightly shorter.

Lovely staff all-around. Specially the hairstylist. My first visit for tint treatment n cut. Only niggle is quite a few short greys missed around front n i usualky tie my hair back so was not entirely happy . I Didnt check in the salon as i didnt expect it. If i was visiting.a salon.n paying full price i would want all my greys coloured. Other than that i was happy with rest of service.

Always good to have hair done here the service is second to none..mimimal waiting..nice back massage while having hair washed...and seated at nice angle so you dont get neck ache

Really friendly and well organised salon. No fuss, great staff, good facilities.

Good styling, but after having a better look at the cut he has cut one side shorter than the other.
It was also not as flat and shiny as I would have liked.
