If you want an excellent service, good value for money and a great result book an appointment with Alberto! He's been colouring my hair for several years now and although I in this time moved from the UK to Germany I am still a regular at Toni&Guy Islington! Great experience all around!

Good experience

Gabrielle made having my hair done so much fun! We played with it like I was young again and he taught me a lot about techniques and my own hair. We came to a decision on my style together with his knowledge and advice. Great guy.

Alberto is really professional hairdresser. He cut my hair as I wanted. He changed my colour and I am really happy with the result.

Overall a fantastic haircut. The service provided was first class; a loving, friendly, yet professional atmosphere and fantastic final product.

Loved my cut! Victor discussed what I wanted and explained what he was going to do. I was really pleased with the result. I also had a tint refresh with Maeve - again,top class service.

Loved my trim and blowdry with Gabriele ! It was my first time in the salon and I am a very picky client. Gabriele is a fun polite and bubbly proffessional who inderstood my needs and created the look that I wanted. Definately recommend and definately going back.

This is the second time I have had my hair done with Steff and she always does a good job. However this time at the salon I left a bit miffed as I felt I was mislead slightly in terms of costings. The lady who took my call said I could get my colour done for £112 as there was no technician available, only Steff, a senior technician. I also said I didn’t want a full blow dry. As I was getting a rough dry I asked the junior member of staff who was going it if I needed a trim, as it had been a while between cuts. She then brought a guy over who told me I needed a trim and that he would have to blow dry my hair. He spent approximately 1/2 hour doing this. Whenever I went to pay the bill was £169. It was explained to me that the cut and blow dry was added on. I feel that charging me an extra £57 for what was essentially a very basic trim is slightly unreasonable. I get that I should have been charged extra as I did technically get it cut but I felt adding on this much was unfair and slightly sneeky. I’d be reluctant to return now to Toni & Guy because of this.

I got a blowdry by Guiseppe and he’s just great! Loved my hair and I’m definitely coming back.

Kaz is AMAZING !!!! She’s been my stylist for the last 10 years and no matter how horrible my hair is, she always makes me feel fabulous after few minutes :-)

Gabriele was absolutely lovely and so friendly. When I was first greeted they didn’t ask to take my bags and put me in a gown at the reception which was a bit weird so when I sat down in the chair I was disappointed. Gabriele didn’t come to me until 15 minutes late but he was so lovely and apologetic and we had a great chat. He knew exactly what I wanted and was very complimenting. So happy with my cut and his charm

Absolutely fantastic experience, Jeeyoung was everything I expected in a great hairdresser. Salon had a fantastic atmosphere also .

Fantastic hair style and really friendly service

I had a terrible experience. I cannot name the person who cut my hair as I was not told her name at reception and she did not introduce herself.
I asked for my hair to be graded with clippers and she said she would not do that.
I then repeated I like and prefer a clipper cut and have previously had ‘grade 5/6’ at this salon.
She said’I only have grade 4’ which I think may not have been right.
Anyway after some arguing she refused to use the clippers and used scissors.
The result is a haircut I did not want - still do not want - with no grading at all and just a flat boring cut.
The hair cut took 30 minutes (fine by me) except that she spent nearly 15 minutes cutting just one section of my hair (left side above the ear) and I have no idea why..
I am very very unhappy to have a haircut that I did not ask for and had to pay £60 for the privilege.
I get exactly what I ask for for less than £20 round the corner so I’m taking my custom elsewhere from now on. If this is how this company treats its customers it does not deserve my custom..

I come monthly for a roots and refresh with Steff. I love coming to the salon as all the staff are very welcoming. Steff does my hair exactly how I want it & does it quickly for me too which I really appreciate. I have always been very pleased with the service I receive and the end results. 5 star all round from me.

I thought the stylist was amazing. So kind and friendly. She was very skilled too. Will definitely ask for her again. Thanks!

Today I had colour and cut. Tobia cut my hair perfectly, as usual. The place is a little expensive but sometimes you have to treat yourself!
