I called in last Monday on spec and an appointment was available shortly after. The stylist was great, she knew exactly what my preferred style required and cut my hair with great care and attention. We were both really pleased with the result.

I left my usual stylist recently for various reasons and thought I'd try this salon as it's on my way home from work. It's not cheap. But it's worth every penny. For a long time I've been asking for a certain style from my stylist and never quite got it, and my hair had started to get brassy and unhealthy. Maeve was my experienced colour technician and Michele cut my hair. I didn't know what I needed colour wise except that the colour needed to change. Maeve put me at ease and told me what needed to happen to make my hair look more natural and healthy and Michele was not afraid to cut my hair to the length that I had always wanted it. I haven't been this happy with my hair in a long time, and it's now so easy to style- that's what they kept saying, we'll keep it easy to maintain. I was back there 6 weeks later for a quick colour, and will make this my regular salon now. Couldn't recommend it more. And many people have compliment me on my colour. Lovely non invasive people too!

Recently switched from a regular stylist to Toni and Guy islington. Maeve and Michele were both amazing. It's always daunting changing stylists but my hair was a mess and it had been a long time since I'd actually got the style I wanted even though I'd asked for a million times! Michele wasn't afraid to cut my hair as short as I wanted it to go, and Maeve was lovely, an experienced technician who got my colour looking perfect according to my skin colour, and healthy again. I was back there 6 weeks later and still really love my hair, it's been a long time since I've really loved my hair like this. This is my new salon now and what's great is that it's on my way home from work so I'll be popping in regularly. It's good to trust that you can ask for something and you'll get it. Would highly recommend. It costs, but is worth it.

I left the salon with a huge smile on my face and a spring in my step. Thank you for making a previous nightmare salon experience into a fabulous one!

I had an excellent visit. Elisha who I have known for quite a few years was as lovely as ever and did an excellent job. As did the lovely young lady who washed and dried my hair.

My appointment was for a colour and a cut. The cut was fine- the colour more exaggerated than I had requested with some gaps in the distribution of highlights so looks a bit uneven. Was offered to have tuned down but had no extra time for this - colour time was very lengthy and had to remind staff I was in a hurry. Big shock was the price. Best to check when booking an appointment what level of staff has been allocated. This is not discussed on booking and makes a huge difference. For cut and colour paid almost £200 - huge cost.

I went to have my colour done and is not what I wanted. She let coluor go on my forehead and is afull also the blow dry is terrible the worse Ive ever paid for

I did not like the last service and how you did my hair plus it was too expensive compared to other salons around the area.

Katie is the best hair dresser Ive ever had. Yesterday I told her I was bored of my style and wanted to modernise - music to a hairdressers ears! Now I have a lovely long shiney brunette bob and I love it, so does everyone else. Thanks! Also green tea and head massage bonus! T&G Angel is my most fav hairdresser ever.

This is my third visit I have only ever had an excellent experience at this Tony and Guy. Staff are all lovely and customer focused and I'm highly appreciative of honest yet courteous advice and suggestions to style, cut and colour. Thank you Victor and Maeve !

As I live overseas I chose this salon due to its location and the fact this brand is known all over the world . I am was concerned it would not live up to a perceived reputation. I was wrong. Maeve my colourist certainly knew what she was doing and Ryan did a great bow dry - exactly as I wanted. Thank you.

Hairdresser and cut was great but receptionists came across as arrogant and not particularly welcoming. Needs improvement.

Atmosphere in salon feels sparse empty and quite cold, needs improvement too.

I came in at the very last minute, was able to get an appointment within 5 minutes and I cannot say enough good things about my stylist. Lovely girl, very honest about what needed to be done (I was going from bleach BLEACH blonde back to my natural colour dark brown) and the end result was amazing!

Felt so welcome by the staff and Luke was excellent and even gave me tips for my hair cut I'm aiming for. Will be back for certain!

Great experience with new hairdresser

Generally excellent experience and pleased with cut.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at the Islington studio. The reception staff were professional and the team worked hard to give us a good experience. My girlfriend was nervous about getting her hair cut and her stylist worked hard to put her at ease. We were both very pleased with the results and will definately be going back.

I've been going to this Toni and Guy for years now and I've never been disappointed with the results or service. Chloe is a very talented colourist (helping me transition from dyed dark to blonde with minimal orange!) and Gabriele the stylist is fantastic too. Prices are also very fair- especially for London! Highly recommend.

I asked for a t-section of highlights and my roots are just as bad as when I first went in! The stylist only did one thin strip down the middle and two thin foils either side. The hairdresser offered a rough dry but I wanted to see the colour before I left and they charged me £47 for a 'bouncy' blow dry. Which was far from bouncy and very overpriced. Very disappointed in the colour match and service. Would not recommend.

I had a wash cut and blow dry today and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were lovely from reception to my hairdresser. I didn't have an appointment but they were happy to see me. The atmosphere was lovely and I felt very comfortable. Thank you so much.

Had a blow dry as I have done 30 plus times with Toni & Guy.
The man who attended to me had no care for me as a person , rough with he brushes , burnt my scalp I had to pull away then pushing the brush he was using into my coffee.
It was very clear the big puffy blow dry with waves was not happening from the beginning , he very much knew it.
Towards the end he told me he was getting his colleague to fix it and walked away???
She then kindly curled my hair with tongs , I could have done this at home ??? It has already dropped my hair does not look like I've been in a salon for over an hour.
I then went to the desk after and billed for £47.00!!! Not asked how I was? Or if I was happy. I almost just paid it but then spoke up and she said she will do it half price. No sorry and no what can we do to fix this.

Poor service and team.
Thanks to the lovely girl who put the tongs through it she was the only nice thing from this experience.
Still can't believe I had to pay.

Very nice salon. Saloon manager and senior team are genuine and professional.
I have been doing my hair colour with Alberto the Senior technician since Dec 2016. Have been to the saloon 4 times so far and never been disappointed.
Highly recommend Albero for color. He listens to you very carefuly, he is friendly and at the same time very professional. He has a nice taste and won't disappont his clients :)

Walked in wanting a quick appointment- was given one within 2 hours and with an amazing stylist. Viktor was the type of stylist I had been searching for . He was polite , attentive, creative, talented, friendly and spot on. He wasn't afraid to push the boundaries of styling and I am so pleased with the result.

Today I went to have color and cut done after a very long time. I explained exactly what I wanted and Maeve who done my color was brilliant, for the first time I didn't feel rushed in a salon and Maeve paid such attention to detail and was just so lovely and pleasant.
Michele cut my hair, also very happy. I told him what I didn't want and let him do what he thought and he had fun with it and I'm very happy.
