Just want to give a massive shout-out to Katie - she is the best stylist I’ve ever had (8 years and counting!) but she’s also so genuine and the staff (even newbies) are so lovely and accommodating that it makes a salon visit a really pleasurable experience.

It wasn't until after the highlights were done and I popped round to my Dad's round the corner from the salon, that I noticed the tell-tale train tracking of where the colour had bled out of the foils and bleached the hair in a train-track pattern at the back by the nape of the hair line and on the top left too. I immediately went back to the salon to speak to the manager Leigh who was not there, and spoke to Ryan instead who was either powerless to help me get a refund or partial refund for the damage to my hair. He did suggest that I had another treatment to put a dark toner or tint on the train-track pattern but It was already nearly 6pm and I had other plans. To be honest I paid £149 for a top hair tech to give me highlights that should have been perfect but were not. It was most disappointing and very upsetting for me. A real let down. I was told that Leigh was going to be instructed to call me at 10.30am on Saturday so that I could get my refund. I saved up the money for these highlights and it looks like I may have to go elsewhere to have the train-tracking dyed by someone who actually knows what they are doing. I am very very upset. I don't expect this sort of thing to happen in such a prestigious salon such as yours, and am actually mortified that one of your top hair techs did this to me.

Went from medium long hair to Chris Hemsworth short hair textured crop.
The cut is very good, even transitions from top to side neat back. Very good cut all scissors with out clipper which I think does make for a better cut.
I really like the result doubles as a Roman crop with short fringe swept over. Suitable for business or looking more trendy
I think they guys name was James or Chris something short. Sort of Alice in chains rocker type looking guy. Good to chat to whilst the cut was going on.

I've been a regular at The Academy for the last few years but felt in need of a special treat so visited T&G, Islington on Monday 2 December.
I was welcomed by a delightful reception who managed to fit me in without an appointment and made me the best cup of tea in North London.
Victor, the eight wonder of the world transformed me into a confident stylish woman and it's only fair to warn him to prepare of an invasion of middle-aged woman booking an appointment with him whilst clutching a photo of me on their phones and begging him to work his magic on them as well!

Amazing experience! I came in with only one thought about what hair style I wanted, James was absolutely lovely and knew exactly what type of style would suit my hair (very thick, and slightly curly), so friendly, and I felt very comfortable going ever-so-slightly out of my comfort zone. Would definitely recommend this branch and James!

The service was very basic, I’m shocked that the stylist was a style director. It was definitely not worth the money. Compared to previous experiences, it was very poor.
