Firstly, apologies for delayed review, but have been occupied since colouring my hair with a sickly 5 y/o.

So Antonio reminded me he’s outstanding at his craft. We’ve worked together a long while back but since Rio arrived I’ve relied on her silky skills to keep me looking younger.

I suspect because I prefer the hands of a talented and beautiful female technician massaging my head at the end of a T&G visit that Antonio’s talent slipped my mind.

A big thank you for taking on the challenge of my white bonce after 3 weeks holiday. Super work.

But what about your massage I hear my readers shout?!

Well the super new boss stood in and delivered a mahoosive head massage....however I was suitably chastened for asking Elenor’s (or is it Elena’s?) age with a dose of the peppermint conditioner that zinged until half way home. On the A3....won’t be asking further personal q’s of da Boss for fear of what potion may be used next ????

So once again T&G Glos Rd keeps its title as best salon in Max’s world with MASSIVE strength in depth,

Rio returns from her hols soon so I shall be spoilt for choice if I turn up on a day when all mentioned here are at work!

Thanks as ever to all the team, but especially to Antonio on this particular trip from leafy Surrey to zone 1.

Ok - so the way to measure great service is to know that occasionally mistakes are made and then it’s the manner in which they are dealt with that is the true measure.

Da Boss dyed my hair today but wasn’t satisfied with Elements as we reviewed me in the mirror.

Three takes later and I was finally Passed Fit to leave the salon.

Now that’s taking pride in your work and super service/attention to detail.

All the better for me as I got three head massages ????

Well everyone must know I’m a fan by now!

Rio was off today so I had the pleasure of working with the new manager.

Left feeling 10 years younger, floating after an ASTONISHING head massage and wondering how this salon continues to attract such talent.

From reception, to the practioners and now management the team are talented yet kind / genuine folk,

They are all also beautiful to behold so a super advert for T&G and yet the atmosphere is relaxed / welcoming.

I was a fan of Dan but his shoes have been well filled by wonderful Elena who I thoroughly recommend.

Salon is great, the staff friendly but...

I was served by ***** actually (this name is not shown at the stylist name section) but I was arranging the coloured firstly with *****.
I wanted to have my roots and grey hair covered in the same darkness (lightness of the colour) but different shade so we picked the colour I want to have as the final result on my hair but my colour is much darker then discussed and they should have known this.
I kept saying and repeating I want the same darkness (lightness in this case) of my hair, but the shade is the same as it was and it is much much darker.
So what am I suppose to do right now
I payed a lot of money thinking i will get the right shade with your hairdressers but on the contrary I'm sorry...I had to mention this even though the girls are very nice they didn't do the job.
Tell me what do you suggest I do now.

It’s Xmas so I’ll keep it short....you must try this place as all the staff are of an exceptional standard, whilst Rio really is at the top of her trade.

Great location, lovely characters from reception to stylists and juniors, super clean shop and not in fussy south ken or Sloane Square. Glos rd cool but down to earth.

Running out of superlatives for Rio.

Talented technician, lovely person and beautiful too.

But before she worked her magic I had my hair cut by Valerio. Usually use a local chap in Surrey who I’ve befriended but difference was clear as left with best haircut in years.

Valerio is off to Italy as short listed for best hairdresser over there. Should win it easily.

I was treated to a make over today by two v talented folk who are passionate about their work, and cool and the gang to boot!

Huge fan of this salon. Travel a long way to get there but worth every penny of petrol!

Had my hair coloured yesterday.

Didn’t have my usual shade but amazingly Rio did something with a similar colour that was actually better!

Very talented technician and should insure her hands as head massage must be what you feel if you make it to heaven!
